Sounds like you could be, you really don't need much at all, either that or you're perhaps not quite rinsing enough afterwards - do you use a pressure washer or just a hose? If you're using it in the sun, I find it best to rinse after every other panel generally to stop it drying out, that usually also results in a bit of streaking.

Leave your car keys in the microwave, that's an RFID blocker... ...just don't forget to take them out before using the microwave!

True story.

Firstly, apologies for the thread highjack, Stanski! In that case, let me present to you three options of varying costs and efforts; Option the first; switch to a straight up sealant - gloss is where sealants excell (I resisted the urge to say "shine" here. ). I highly recommend AM Details AM Seal; And because those pictures are probably Photo*uckit based; Option 2; the no-effort Gyeon duo; Wetcoat and (/or) Bathe+. Considering the distinct lack of effort, you get a really glassy gloss from both with the added bonus of similar sorts of protection to sealants. I probably has photos of those too... Option C; Full on ceramic coating. You simply won't get more gloss from anything else. They do cost a lot though and they are much more involved to apply - you can't really get either of the above wrong. But also; All of this comes with the rather significant caveat that for ultimate gloss; prep! A deep clean and then polish. Then polish some more. And then a little more. Then ceramic coating. Then wash with Bathe+.

Have to be honest, it’s one of my favourite waxes on a metallic paint, I find it gives really good, deep flake pop and a wet finish. I prefer it to all of the Dodo Juice offerings, for example, and the only real competitor that I’ve tried is the slightly (ahem!) more expensive AF Desire. What colour is your car and are you only aiming for gloss? Yes Auto Balm is a sealant, by the way.

There’s red, white, blue and black. Each one is slightly different. I’ve got all four and have found that blue gives a wetter finish, red a warmer finish, white is a bit sterile in comparison and I haven’t even used black... yet.

Which one, out of interest?

Haven’t seen this weeks but saw most of last weeks. I do agree that the three of them work well together and it’s not nearly as forced as the last few years but it’s still the same scripted nonsense as the last decade, fresh faces of not. It needs a dramatic change in formula... or at least some new writers with a new idea would be nice. That said, I wasn’t expecting much from the lineup when it was announced so that’s actually been a pleasant surprise that they’ve turned out to be quite good actually.

Seems like a reasonable reaction. Now tell us, what did you do with the Z?

Try cleaning it thoroughly first, usually this is stuff bonded onto the surface rather than damage to it - on your last picture, you've got a similar issue with the B Pillar trim as well (although you need to treat that slightly differently!). For your window strip; Strong APC & degreaser (Bilt Hamber Surfex HD) sprayed on & thoroughly worked before clay. If it's no different then a trim restorer (such as Solution Finish) but if cleaning makes any difference (better or worse) you won't need anything more than a dressing like C4 or Gyeon Trim to bring it back to life. The rear window strips just need a clean (moderate APC) and dressing. For your B pillar; mild APC & degreaser to clean then polish with minimal cut - they scratch very easily, polishing by machine in situ (and then never even looking at them again, let alone touching them) will give best results. And seeing as I'm here, the rubber seals in your door could do with a good deep clean (mild APC) and feed (Gummi Pfledge) too.

It’s just moisture. Leave it out in the sun for a while and it’ll go away. T-Cut won’t help you, especially not on the soft Nissan paint!

I think Dan's a fan...

You can forgive the confusion though, the tape deck in the Nissan is from a 1940s Ford...
-
By posting a video on YouTube pretending to accept responsibility but actually just moaning about how everyone else is to blame. No doubt someone will “step up” and bail him out of his mistake...

-
You may also want to consider not using a car cover at all, unless you enjoy polishing paint and have plenty of paint thickness...
-
Oh, I’d forgotten how good A303 is. Good choice, sir!
-
With a thread like this, I’ll catch up with Dan’s post count in a couple of hours.
-
PM Davey. He doesn’t want everyone to know.
-
Fair enough. I’ll pass then seeing as the confusion seems to be on your part. However, to the masses, if anyone wants to donate a small amount of this miracle product I’ll quite happily do a proper test of it.

It’s coated leather, so you’d end up with boot polish all over clothes for a few weeks before it looks just as bad as when you started, tbh.

Why not just discuss it openly on the forum where others can participate? Bulk out a thread... isn't that the point of the forum?? Serious question.
