  1. Looks like a Model 3 with less doors and more grille.

    car cover

    Not just a dirty car.
  3. *Raises hand* I still recall the comment when the 370 was launched (all those many years ago); “styling tweaks include taking a 350Z and putting a pair of Dame Edna’s glasses on it”.
  4. Oh I didn’t say that like it was a good thing! Also, this is just guesstimated renderings still, isn’t it? Of course, I’m not suggesting the actual car will be any better (or even any different) but then it could be... different that is.
  5. Ah yes, of course - that was actually a daft question!
  6. Does the AF policy actually cover mods? Check the fine print on Admiral, whilst they load the premium they do restrict pay outs for non-standard parts and they tend to be unrealisticly limited.
  7. Or just go with a decent insurance company instead...
  8. No, but Admiral specifically ask. It’s not something I would declare unless specifically asked about it though.
  9. Admiral will load for the speed awareness course. As far as I’m aware they’re still the only group to do so, just so you’re aware. As for low ball valuations, that depends on the underwriters - some are better than others and start off with a reasonable offer, others are under pressure to minimise costs and low ball. You are not obligated to accept any offer made by the insurance company however and can negotiate - if you’re realistic with your own valuation, it shouldn’t be difficult to demonstrate that value to the insurance company.
  10. Now that is some awesome, real gloss (not just flattering angles)! Ron does some incredible work.
  11. Rumour has it that, in acknowledgement of “recent” trends for multimedia entertainment systems in cars these days, along with most of the world’s population moving/having moved away from DVD’s & CD’s (ahem, recent...) in favour of streaming digital media instead and the rise of internet connected in-car entertainment systems, Nissan plan on installing all it’s new models with VHS tape decks from 2021.
  12. Hideous bodykit aside, it's actually a shame DC Customs didn't bother to pay anyone to finish that custom paintwork. I know white hides a magnitude of sins, but it certainly failed to hide all that orange peel!
  13. That’ll be the “retro-inspired re-skin” that was... promised (? - threatened may be more accurate!). Still, all the enthusiasts here will buy one anyway because someone glued a Z badge to it, so “heritage”. Or something.
  14. Practice your sewing and just re-cover them in a material of your choosing. Whilst the leatherette isn’t a bad choice, something slightly more breathable is a good alternative.
  15. Pretty much my experience of the wipes too, quick and easy to apply and look great at first but after a couple of weeks they look worse than ever. Somewhat surprised that C4 lasted under 4 months though. Sounds like you followed the right process to apply so not sure what caused that to be honest.
  16. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t matter what the car looks like, what it’s called, how much power it’s got, whether it’s NA, charged or battery powered. The only thing that matters, truly matters, the only thing that’ll make anyone actually buy it is if they put pretty tyres on it. C’mon Nissan, give the people what they want already!!
  17. Secrecy or uncertainty? Sounds like he’s not being deliberately vague but rather, as it’s not a priority (by his own admission), Nissan just haven’t laid out the far end of the growth plan in detail yet; get the electric crossovers and £5bn loss sorted then discuss the low production, low revenue models, in essence. Thats what I take from it anyway. Just so that G Man can quote me in a couple of years when they finally get around to it and laugh at how “wrong” I am.
  18. Because we’ve already got 879 “I’ve heard the next Z will be a GTR for £6.90” threads taking up the forums quota of nonsense, thanks.
  19. I don't even want to know what you get up to, to require waterproof jumpers...
  20. Yep absolutely, it'd be fine to protect mohair too.
