  1. Looks awesome- jealous much! Great pics to compare too!
  2. Having researched this and found it is possible, has anyone got exact details and a UK garage/ person who could do this? Ideally I'm after a switch but would consider removal if essential. Looking at fitting a baby seat in (for occasional use in the future) and this would need to be done due to all sorts of laws/ safety requirements.
  3. Looking good! Try low max seats (they might make sub frames too?) although I initially found the 370z too high but have now totally got used to it- saving me a packet! If you're after room with a helmet I guess lower frames are the only way to go though.
  4. Has anyone ever noticed a difference cutting down the plastic trim parts which hang down in front of the wheels? Or the plastic trim splitter at the front? These seem to reduce airflow under the car but a lot of people cut these when lowering to reduce catching on things- despite car being lower I think this will result in increased lift at speed due to the increased airflow...?
  5. Looking good! Will miss seeing it around St. Albans lol. I love my 370 but that 350 is something special I always wanted to do a road trip to Scotland and never did so good to know it'll get on some good roads up there. Enjoy- and look after it! Ps please 'charge it...and when you do I'll come out for a ride!

    Remap

I have got the graphs although not to hand, PM me and I'll reply with them if you like. Noise is a very subjective thing but the car sounds great overall and is on no way chavvy/ intrusive, just sounds exactly how a car should also burbles and pops when required That was with invidia/ Berks/ stillen G3 and uprev. 325 hubs/ 360 wheels.
  7. Yep but BMW's are also rubbish (from experience).
  8. Lighter than a 350z* and more power, can't complain *model dependent but I came from a heavier one!
  9. This is indeed the case- topping up the fluid is just a short term fix as the pads will be close to the end once this starts happening. New pads time I'm afraid! Tcs will also flicker on and then stay on as of course the car is unable to control braking individual wheels as there is not enough fluid to push the pads all the way to the disc- hence a Tcs 'error'. Ps the reason youay be advised not to top up fluid is because once new pads are fitted you will have too MUCH fluid and this would need to be carefully removed- a faff but perfectly possible and if you're changing fluid anyway then won't make a lot of difference.
  10. Sadly my wife's car (mint Hyundai coupe/ new shape) was done 3 times with a screwdriver parked outside our house- so deep it dented the panels. We just ended up parking somewhere else. This was after talking to the guy first too- apparently his son also takes the view that this is acceptable behaviour. Great to wind yourself up over revenge but in reality you live there and life could get tricky Filming public spaces is legal so I would set up a surveillance and get a dash cam too. Submit claim once evidence is obtained- small claims court if needed. My favourite revenge idea was to park a battered shed (~£100) there permenantly (And fully legal!) or better still a skip
  11. Lots more photos of the cars upclose- but the forum won't let me upload more than 125k of images to the whole thread? Sadly i've already shrunk them and can't shrink anymore. I'll try and get some uploaded ot photobucket or message me for further details. Thanks!
  12. Next years series (not sure if it will be the same name yet) Ant is working with James May so should be interesting!
  13. Micro Scalextric 350z Supercar Showdown Complete set with 3 cars (350z), track, barriers, accessories and instructions. Superb condition, barely used with all accessories showing little if any wear. Box has wear in places and some rips and tears so please consider this if the item is to be a present. Paid £120, after £60 + inc tracked p&p to inland uk.
  14. This. Any exhaust fabricator could do you a setup with mostly straight through pipes & decat- the cybox short tails in the other thread do similar essentially if you're just after more noise.
  15. Is this actually better or will it just be sucking in hot engine bay air ? Still intrested to see though This. Stillen G3s are situated outside of the engine bay so heat soak is reduced.
  16. My car has these, berk HFCs, invidia exhaust and an uprev and made 325hp at the wheels at abbey. Translates to ~360bhp at the fly. There is some heat soak on the rollers but according to mark (who has done 50+ 370z's on there) they will show power increase with that set up over the traditional boxes. It dips with heat but then if you're in traffic you don't need the power anyway. Personally I love them.
  17. This sounds like the hill start assist? I have a manual and as you hear the brakes release you may hear an odd noise which cars without hill start assist will not make when setting off from even a small incline- might be this (it would be the same regardless of gearbox as it's the brakes releasing making the noise).
  18. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201505253754343?radius=1500&minimum-seats=2&sort=default&model=370_z&postcode=sg112jr&search-target=usedcars&page=1&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&channel=cars&make=nissan&keywords=nismo&logcode=p You've gotta love the comedy pics! (Guessing it's no one on here- they're awful?) A few grand less and i'll end up being tempted out of the black edition...
  19. Bridgestone re050a are great, relatively hard wearing too. Well aligned and balanced and should be no probs at speed.
  20. They legally have a duty of care when dealing with your car and clearly that hasn't happened- demand a refurb. I think you'll have a fight on your hands to choose the place though- that's the sad thing as most places use somewhere cheap to sort the issue (happened to me twice preciously on other cars). Lesson learnt though- only use specialists rarely find they cost much more either. Only thing worse than a regular garage is a main dealer!
  21. Also keen on some...the black edition interior is not very garage friendly!
  22. They always went on about it on the 350 and now on the 370.... It is present but no different to the 350 (on Michelin pilot sports) has never worried me in the least and I use the car daily on dual carriageways etc. I'm on Bridgestone re050a's- tyre choice will affect it.
  23. Don't think I can post a pic from my phone but the bonnet pop light is a regular thing after taking the bumper off and you can either get nissan consult software to clear it or there's a manual process. Go to the uprev site and its on there or Google 370z bonnet pop up.
