  1. Sorry...UK 2004 GT car, standard alarm. I think it had the alarm recall done (but can't remember the details).
  2. Calling on the wisdom of the forum to help me out here! Made the rookie error of leaving the lights on and with a dead battery I jump started it with jump leads running to another car (after trying and failing with one of those battery starter packs with the leads on them). Car started fine, ran it for a while, drove about and the battery is now fine. However, the alarm remote won't lock/ unlock the car. I have to do it manually with the key, upon unlocking the alarm sounds, key in ignition, full turn and it stops. I've replaced the battery in the remote- same result. Anyone know what it could be? I'm pretty sure I noticed it the first time I tried opening the car after jump starting that the problem started, and not had the issue previously. Tried what it says in the manual to reset the unlocking code- pumping the key in and out of the ignition 6 times in 10 secs but there are no hazard warning light flashes which apparantly should show when doing this.......
  3. Thanks all! I'll post up some pics of the discs which are much closer...
  4. Welcome to the club! I'm new myself too and can't imagine how i'd feel if someone had just done that to my car- i'm worried enough about getting too much dirt on the damn thing! Have a dig around the forums and ebay, scrap yards etc (many of these advertise on ebay anyway), there must be someone with a panel and if you can then get it sprayed and fitted it should cost far less that 1k i'd hope....good luck!
  5. And another couple next to a classic jag when I had the belts changed. For some reason I liked the way the newer design, hard lines of the 350 looked next to the classic so had to get some pics Car came freshly serviced (FNSH) new tyres, brakes and freshly refurbished brembo calipers with new discs/ pads. Even had the 'banana bars' recently done with a fresh new clutch too The NISMO zaust had also been polished so hard I could see my face in it! (despite being under the car ) One question though...from that last pic- does anyone know what brand discs these are? Unsure. Cheers all!
  6. Thanks all Here's a pic from the advert- actually meant to upload it the first time doh! Will dig out some others...
  7. Hi All! Brand new to the forum and to 350z ownership. It's my first jap car after a superb string of 306's (ending in a 306 rallye track car), a lotus exige and then a bmw 330ci m-sport. I have lusted after the 350z ever since first test driving one in 2006 and finding it thoroughly engaging to drive. The car i've bought is a 2004 GT UK edition and has a full NISMO stainless steel exhaust system with a nismo CAI. I have to say I absolutely love it! The sound is completely addictive as is all the torque and power that comes with it. I can honestly say that I haven't really felt like this about a car since my first car- I find myself making excuses for taking it for a drive... The car previously belonged to a production engineer for Nissan technical europe (actually picked it up from their main base) who looked after it to a terrific level and i'm genuinely chuffed to have found it. Look forward to getting involved in some meets!
