  1. I may have a pair of 25mm soon as I am changing to 15mm. I'll let you know soon.
  2. Price dropped to £30 inc tracked postage. Great as a spare!
  3. Stillen G3/ takeda are full cold air intakes placed outside the engine bay (just inside the bumper) so suck in colder air than traditional intakes in the engine bay. These are the only intakes which are dyno proven to increase power. Most of the intakes which go in the engine bay (eg jwt or k&n typhoon) result in throttle lag (from hot air being sucked in) and decreased power on a dyno. There's a large amount of info in the U.S. sites where they are more common.
  4. This, so much this. Once a mate of mine ran an escort dry of oil- 'said it was running 'funny' On the 12am run to the only 24 hour tescos, I joked if they don't have any we'll have to buy olive oil and he said 'really? That will work then?'...! Edit: re the filter, it's not as if people have been running them for decades with no detrimental effects and millions of miles of testing. It will damage your car- I'll give you a tenner for it
  5. £489 Torqen He's on here...
  6. Agree very much with this. Driver training (especially on track) helps you deal with similar if it happens on the road- as the road will often have poor camber variations which make it worse. In addition: Last time alignment was set up? Age of suspension parts? Age of discs/ pads/ calipers? Any modification to sway bars or suspension? Spacers? Any of those may affect hard braking. It's something I used to get on my old 306 track car. That car also had a brake balance valve/ distributer to vary braking power between front and rear which used to get stuck- not sure if the 350/ 370 works in the same way?
  7. Haha...no that part doesn't have a cover- I thought that was funny too!
  8. OEM 350z REAR LIGHT CLUSTER PASSENGER SIDE Purchased as a pair of immacculate lights (suit 2003-2006 350z, non LED) but I only required one at the time so this one was surplus. I have now sold the car so have this for sale. Will be thoroughly bubble-wrapped before sending off. Very easy to fit- simply 3 bolts (the bulbs fit into the back of this). £37 inculding tracked postage and lots of bubble wrap packaging. Any questions feel free to ask.

  11. Interesting- but how odd to write so much about a supposed 'sports car' and write next to nothing about the drive! Brilliant cars to drive and much more grippy and firm at the front end than the 350z. Glad to see you enjoying it though
  12. Ps if I ever head for divorce I will be selling car asap and heading to Vegas!
  13. Can you not take £7800 and ask for a signed receipt for £2500?
  14. Ant's a friend of mine from school- good lad and is cracking at his job. How to generate that much cash doing something you love is quite a talent!
  15. Seen on Sunday 19th- morning, I was in the black edition 370z. Seen one occasionally in Hertford too (unsure of the plate). Looked awesome!
  16. Agree on changing the clutch fluid- if there are black 'bits' in it, this could indicate that the rubber on the CSC (clutch slave cylinder) is breaking down. Worth a go even if it's just black with no bits- the black is clutch dust and will increase friction/wear on the moving parts.
  17. 2004/5 is the DE engine, will characteristically burn less oil and IMHO sounds marginally better and is also hugely cheaper to modify if you plan on going down that route. As for 'newer = better resale', a 9 year old car vs an 11 year old car are so far down their depreciation curves it just won't matter- just buy the best example that you can find- seems to vary hugely with z's. Overall, they are a car which hold their prices superbly well relative to most others so you're on the right track to start with anyway
  18. Interesting- issue is Mozilla will often mess up Java when playing videos (only continuing when the cursor is moved) and Java then won't re install properly so went back to IE. I'll try opera etc..
  19. This is true although you'll be paying less for the older car and can always pick up a second hand premium- seen them a fair bit.
  20. Weirdly, when adding text to the box at the base of a thread page, mine will regularly pause and miss out random letters? It's only on this form/ this site. Usually after first few lines. Also refuses to paste text in (tried as a workaround) and does not allow scrolling to other parts of page when typing. Any ideas? Running windows 7/ IE.
  21. Made the change 350 to 370 myself 2 months ago. First impressions- more solid, better held together, feels a shorter car engine has more guts too. Steering- more direct into corners, less under steer, front end much stiffer (it's got lots of extra stiff bits over the 350) Handling- more composed at speed and in corners, it's very different from the 350 but once you learn it, the torque is fantastic mid-corner. Just make sure you sort the exhaust and throttle delay out- (uprev/ exhaust) as they are woeful!
  22. Massive thumbs up from me for sorting out PERSONAL delivery by Adrian of my order to Japex when I needed an urgent delivery. Great comms as usual too
  23. Tap into the courtesy light circuit. You'd need to look at the wiring diagram to find out which wires they are. I've done this in the past- led's are very low current and voltage (much lower than interior lighting) so tapping into this would be fine. Then they come off and on with the interior lights, run the wires from the lights around the door frame to the footwell.
