  1. Green wheel at the front and purple at the back. Sling the silver Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. You've got precisely zero chance of getting a job with such a high profile employer in administration would be my assessment pal. As a former mortgage underwriter that would be my view on an 'assessed' case. If you could get an automated application accept you might sneak through the radar. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. Yup. And not very long at that rate. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  4. Either the op is taking this very graciously or he's outside trying to bash his head in using his overstuffed steering wheel Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  5. Aside from everything else thats been mentioned isn't the orange bit at the top on the wonk/not central? Sorry mate. £50 and I'd say you had a bargain Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. Oddly enough we're just rebuilding an 08 S3 that burned a hole through its number 2 piston! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  7. There is a way around it but it immediately makes you sound dodgy. You can sell perfectly good car on trade terms as 'spares or repairs' with no warranty and whilst someone could still try and argue consumer rights I would heard a guess any court would chuck it if they agreed to a spares or repairs sale. To me that immediately screams that the car is gonna give you grief. As said the 3 month thing is a load of old pony. Consumer rights trump all and within the first 6 months (i think) the burden of proof is upon the seller to prove the defect was not present at the time of sale Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. as said a foot long breaker bar isnt going to cut it. Its not far off the size of a ratchet! 2ft long minimum and a good angle.......doing this on the deck is going to make it significantly more tricky
  9. Oooooo had a go of them and it's much easier. Not perhaps for the dipping tank but got a few detailing consumables. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Does anyone have any experience of using Alibaba. I'm really struggling to get my head around it. It was mooted as eBay for business to business but as best as I can see there's no 'easy' on click to buy. Also the shipping side of things concerns me a bit. I'm looking at getting a hydrodipping tank imported so we can upgrade ours. How do you administer getting the it from the ship to Chester. Is there any customs implication to importing something like that? Sorry I dumb :-( Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Mate as a show car with different shoes on it (like Konig Afterburners) I think it looks properly epic. 2 beautiful colours but it's got to be moved away from stock to properly work. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. Just got an S6 edge. Very good phone but feels totally unergonomic in the hand. Smashed it after 6 days. Unbreakable gorilla glass my knob Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. Pretty much the best supplier around our area. Surprising that you're having problems in honesty Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. Disgusting. What morals do these people live by? Pretty much the same as the Britain First cretins in this country. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  15. Utter garbage cars from what I hear. Would love one! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. Dark paint that is......dont detail in the dark Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  17. If its dark. Decontaminate Polish with a buffer (DA) Blackhole glaze R222 concours wax. Obviously thats the short and sweet version but youll get depth and gloss in the paint. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  18. 10k is thick but youll always get the one buyer wholl fall in love with it. Depends how quick you want to sell tbh Good luck mate. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  19. 341 BHP Z20 LET for anyone who can't access the link! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  20. Our very own Crazy Chris from CBM Automotive (who I work with) has built his 'race van' Hopefully the link will work but you never know with faceplant https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=919984758100329&id=505783806187095 Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  21. To change slave on DE box doesn't have to be dropped To change clutch you do and that is booked at 3.5 hours on Autodata. Single mass is more durable as it doesn't have internal dampers like a DMF. The internal dampers absorb the torque which is why you'll find nearly every diesel has one because they're more torquey engines (that sound about right Alex?). If you switch to single you are likely to observe some judder as the torque is transmitted Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  22. That sounds dead easy to check for Actually you can check to see what type of rad you have quite easily (there's an image on a merc forum that shows what they look like). Beyond that the initial signs are a very subtle surge when your driving along under constant throttle. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. Remember my 'worst car I ever owned post' Not sure which marques actually had it but glycol contamination in the ATF is very important to look out for. It's caused by the ATF rad being located inside the normal rad. It corrodes and allows coolant into the ATF which knackers the gearbox.
  24. Fair cop. You doing the DMF whilst your at it? Will be more pricey but whilst the box is off? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  25. 2 and you'll hate both. 1.3 vauxhall chevette which was my 2nd car (1st lasted a month). Orange shagpile carpet and a 10 squillion watt head unit Ford Cougar 2.5 v6 which was my first anywhere near 'sports car'. All the cars since then have pretty much caused me heartache, grief or an empty void where the soul should be. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
