  1. I do jest but I'm more than happy stealing my mates kids for the day and getting them jacked up on e numbers before sending them home. To be fair the 15 year old I mention above is such a good kid. He's right into his cars as well so I get to be cool uncle ricey without actually parenting him! Also it's amazing the unpaid slave labour you can put a teenager through and only call it 'chores'. We had him redecorating a house! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Sounds like something a TVR owner might say.......Whilst sheltering under a bush waiting for the RAC. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. I'm here all week.....try the veal. Seriously though the main crux of my point is that whilst I find kids about as appealing as owning a pet pubic louse they do appeal to many if not most adults as a natural stage of life but by God they are going to be hard work to raise if you're already having issues. You definitely need a rock solid foundation and a right load of patience to raise a kiddie.
  4. As someone who has got to the age of 46 and by choice never had kids, the one piece of advice I would give is do not under any circumstances have them just because someone else wants them. Despite what the media wants you to believe, it's not mandatory to have kids and you can have a perfectly happy and fulfilled life without the little beggars! little beggars? ... I am speechless.... although I can understand the fact that some don't want kids and I am completly fine with it,I don't get the way you see kids from your words... and yes I do have 2 daughters which for me are the world and everything I always wanted Good for you. As stated above, "little beggars" is a traditional and relatively innocuous terms of reference for kids. I'm not sure why it left you "speechless". I hope it won't upset you too much if I confide that I find babies revolting, toddlers incredibly irritating and teenagers just about bearable. Kittens and puppies though! Now you're talking say no more I'm really surprised that the Southerner used a predominantly northern turn of phrase and the Northerner(ish) misunderstood it! I genuinely couldn't agree more. I'm thinking of asking for a BOGOF on a vasectomy the first time one of my mates goes for one. I was at a house with a newborn the other day and I could hardly believe my ear.......did you know they befoul themselves with effluvial 8-10 times a day!! 8-10 times a day for over God knows how many years. And the crying.....jehhhhhhesus! Then the 3 year old insisted on getting every toy she owned out and manically twatting a balloon into her new brothers boat race just as he went to sleep. Then the 11 year old came in and started pyaaar whinging about something. The 15 year old just sat there looking unwashed grunting occasionally. I'd rather smash my tallywhacker with a toffee hammer until there was nothing left than a bloody hold than subject myself to that vision of hell!
  5. Sounds to me like she's firmly rooted on the 'consumer treadmill'. In the end you'll buy everything that can be bought. Life together ultimately boils down to being interested in one another. My missus has no interest in detailing but I tell you what she spends half an hour every day asking me how the day went and listening to crap she's not all that interested in. We make sure we do it every day when we get in and it make such a difference to show interest in one another. Helps that she's not very materialistic as well which in this day and age is a rare find (in both men and women). The prior missus (as per my likening to your situation) only cracked a smile when I proposed to her after she found out how much the ring was! That said it takes 2 to tango and she may feel the same way about you. It just sounds all too familiar to me and even from the few words you've typed it spells another 2 years of limping then fizzle. Not normally one to be so unbalanced on a recommendation but I guess on this one I am. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Oil filter

Obviously not your motor then: However got to agree that if push comes to shove then decent after market will do a reasonable job, however not to any of my motors. I use Crossland in my assortment of sheds pal! I've only recently slung the Eichar pads that had disintegrated in under 12 months Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Great road but some scary bits. I remember lapping on round down a straight and just as I slowed for the bend as I got round the other side a bike was wedged between 2 trees.....the only thing stopping him from taking the shortest shortcut he'd ever take down a massive embankment! Nowt wrong with the decent quality aftermarket filters mate. Euros will probably do Mann and Halford will prob have a reasonable make like Fram or something Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

You just bang the price up to ridiculous so you save the listing and don't end up paying twice. When its back in stock it gets dropped to the true asking price Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Scobie my good man do I have a plenum for you! ;-) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. This is your reason. Best option is to buy a forum car as you can then trust it's been looked after better. Or at least gauge how well it's been looked after from the person who owned it. Youre right but it is important to remember that forum car doesn't always equate to well looked after. Remember when CalZed bought Dene8 zed........engine blew about 3 months later. Bradders purchase from a member is also a cautionary tale. Still it is the way you can be most comfortable with a cars recent history. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  16. It's b17 Use your local paint shop and ask for a tenth or a touch up pot if they'll do it. Then you've got proper quality paint ready to rock. Costs me about 12 quid for a touch on pot at our suppliers Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. As I recall it's external and pretty easy to change. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  18. Biggest gang of broncos since the Wild Bunch. They make S20004u look like a Bentley dealership Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  19. Lolz. I think you've answered your own question bud. You've got a leak. Back to the garage. If they've pressure tested it and it's holding pressure then I'd ha e to assume the cap is the problem. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. 15 volts is overcharging I'd say. The reg on the alternator could be toast and it's fried the battery. Should be around 13.8 to 14.5 at idle...or there abouts. Someone will know the exact figures for the zed. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. Superb mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. Furry muff. Sensible response fair play to you. Try what Zmanalex has recommended and see how you get on before you worry about dropping the box etc. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. Just getting to know car and how it handles.... Has me worried after hearing clutch issues in some models? Take it to a track then! I'm sorry bud, rare is it that I get on any high horse about bad driving but a 5k clutch dump out of what i assume was a T junction with the TC off is nowt short of driving like a div. Which is fair enough if you ain't hurting anyone else but to then wonder why your clutch is giving you mither when it's having not far off red line throttle dumped through it from a standing start. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. 5k rpm pulling out of a junction before engaging the clutch? Well at least we can be sure that you're not thrashing the granny out of it eh? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  25. Film or ceramic application Kev Itll be a film. You'd never half coat a car in ceramic. To clarify ceramic will offer limited protection against stone chips. It'll help but nothing like a film Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
