  1. Btw I'm not saying all of that is pure cover damage but this was a 3 year old 75k car. Whilst that doesn't mean it hasn't had a grit and go wash before I'm inclined to believe it was mainly the cover. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Wind with 1 tiny piece of grit. I polish marks off these cars at least 3 times a month due to marring from tailor made fleece lined covers. I car show you another 10-20 pics of at least 10 different cars. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. Max of £50 purchase Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Max of £50 saving on the 20% not £50 purchase buddy Made 3 purchases over £50 and all were 20% discounted Well giant bollockchops. Regardless the code didn't work for me but boooooooo none the less Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  5. We'll add that to the catalogue of 'vague stuff to blame on Muslims'. Christ.... So you're saying it was actually Jesus??? Look all I'm saying is.......aliens did it (*britain first/bigot types note* the extraterrestrial version not illegals) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Just in case the last one didn't convince you. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. £500 cover....... Www.revolveautomotiveltd.com ......you can get me on there when you've used it for a bit ;-) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  9. Who did the MOT by the way? Was it actually Junction 17 or a friendly local garage they now? It will say on the MOT certificate (which you can view online if you don't have it to hand). If it's not actually listed as J17 I dare say that if they were shut down they'd re-register a new company for the MOTs, I'm kinda expecting it to be "Junction 72 MOTs" by now... I'd still complain to VOSA anyway though. I To my knowledge unless they see an endemic problem it's the individual who loses the licence not the garage. Customer of ours did it when we found 9 mot failures on a brand new mot
  10. Sorry bud, but you're a mug. Kind of agree with both of you. Sometimes it's better to save yourself the heartache and stress which you can't really put a cost on. I don't imagine these are very pleasant people to deal with in this situation. That said I'd be buggered if I just sucked it up and moved on. At the very least VOSA would be getting a call and someone would be losing their MOT accreditation.
  11. 350's arent immune, ive seen a 2005 plate with serious rust Get a seaside car and any car will struggle Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. Genuinely I'm giving 10/10 for effort and execution. As said I'm not sure it's my cup of tea but you should be seriously proud of that. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. That's forecourt finance. Perfectly normal anyway. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Bit of googling suggests it's to stop it from freezing in cold weather. Every day is a school day Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. Aye that's the real kick in the nuts. On previous cars have always done throttle body clean as part of my servicing routine and never had a problem. Makes me wonder if I did do something and it does knock the confidence a little. Thanks for the words of encouragement Btw when I too mine off I was practically special needs with a spanner so the chances of you doing anything wrong are pretty slim to be fair. I'd love to know the purpose of the coolant lines to the TB though? Anyone shed any light. Much as I've been around for 5 years I've never really questioned it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  16. Someone at Howdens is going to have their tallywhacker snapped off tomorrow (right after I make sure it's nothing I've done wrong when installing the kitchen). Worst design I've ever seen. Kitchen looks proper cheap/nasty. One door has a massive gap. 2 others have 'fillets' which basically means you can't open one door without another. All bastard weekend I was at it!!!! Someone will pay for this!! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. I'm really surprised at how much mither you're having with this. I had my throttle body off like a tarts draws and never had an issue. One thing I'd say is don't let it put you off.....stuff just goes wrong sometimes. Chances are it's not even something you've done wrong. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  18. So the cars not yours then it's the finance companies? This is a pretty important point. Some more knowledgeable (cough*gobshite*) person like Dan may know better but I'm fairly sure this adds all sorts of complications to proceedings......doesn't this mean he's inherited the finance as well? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  19. Fitting a kitchen Anyone whos aware of my diy skills will know ill be using an otter, blowtorch, sledgehammer and some ordinary household bleach Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Hmmmm. Lacquer peel is pretty rare on these unless they've had some paint done. Same with paint fade.....only really seen it where the UV coat has failed Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. Just take it to the garage!! By the time your buggered about buying/borrowing gauges etc you could have it sorted. If it is a true oil pressure issue you'll only end up another statistic in the Zed graveyard by delaying. Obviously if you're handy and have the tools then do it but otherwise just get it looked at asap Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. Yup. Could be a faulty pressure switch. Could be a buggered engine. Could be wrong oil. You need it checking before you do any damage Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. For a quick resolution I'd pm Zmanalex. He'll talk you through what to do (usually he'd of popped up by now). From memory there's no interaction with the cooling system. Putting ancillaries on will put the engine under electrical load so I'd expect a little wobble as the pulleys driving those systems take the strain. You definitely 100% got that MAF plugged in properly? You've not bent a pin in a connector or anything? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. I'm fairly sure the peddle dance for this is an absolute bugger to do. Never had to do it myself but I'm sure it can take a few attempts to get the timings exactly right. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
