My start up (ticking over) revs are now around 1,000 were appx 750 before supercharger fitted. There will always be a metallic sounding whizzing noise a bit like a aeroplane jet this gives it a sound that separates it from a turbo charger this easily identifies it as a super charger. Lovely noise.

Part of my job, now retired from, was a legal executive assistant to the company. Simply never do it yourself there's no come back if you get it wrong and you will repent at leisure. I never forget my first day of training and I was told the old chestnut " its not worth the paper its written on" many appeals at the high courts still fail because of this. Personally I was asked but never got involved in any matters involving my family it can never be seen as independent and it can easily end in tears.

Personally I would cover the car in dust sheets god knows where it comes from but it will, the z will run the battery down quicker than you think.So you need to be aware of this and take preventative measures.Some have been described above.

Good to see its all going well, so you will be going down the farm lane to Abbey, watch out for the gutter in the main parking area, like wise I had the colder plugs than the ones we bought but it was no big deal. It was very very nice going through Dartford tunnel sounding like a 737 taking off though.

Had a standard SLK for a few years and loved it but I did get pi**ed of with the basic service charge, never had a bill for less than £700 quid.It was always surprising that rear bulbs were found to have passed their date and needed to be replaced?? The end came when my beautiful detailed car came back to me with their professional valet that transformed the immaculate body into a bag of sh#te that looked as though the gang from tesco had done it, so it was goodbye to our merc dealer in Lincoln.

Served 2 tours in NI 74 and 76 we lost a total of 32 of our finest warriors, was it worth it , maybe, should we ever have been in Afghanistan, never. We fought three major campaigns there and never resolved anything. I still have contact with a few mates and now in our 60's we meet and chew the fat of old times and the current ones and we still come away thinking when will we ever learn. God bless all those we lost, you will remain in our memories for ever, rest easy your duty is done.

I know this is obvious but you do know you have to hold the clutch down and hold it there before you start the car?

The EU and vat is simple really you cannot be charged further Vat in the UK if you have already paid Vat on the goods in the other European Union country, I.e. you can only pay Vat once.
