  1. Thanks to Ewen for going the extra mile on his holidays, excellent service above and beyond all expectations great stuff.

  3. As above EZ brushes best out there IMO, Also endorse FK 1000p high temp wax for wheels. Used both these products for years.
  4. 1958 Standard 10 bought in 1970 £35 all in. Built with proper heavy duty steel panels ask the triumph herald owner that reversed into the front bumper of my car. Mine hardly scratched his rear boot fell apart and it was a write off. Those were the days.
  5. RIP Martin, God bless, my heart felt condolences to the family, another gentleman in a worthy place.
  6. I, like many on here fitted Berks Hi Flo cats with a stillen y pipe and a scorpion back box, never had any problem with them at all. Just like you I wanted something acceptable and they delivered the goods. Nearly forgot, I have a vortech V3 that has the capacity to be very loud but has just changed the pitch but the volume is no different.
  7. I have berks HFC and it was not unusual to have codes, try what alex says firstf all and usually that solves it.
  8. I've looked at a spare centre console I have and the mechanism when you push the button moves a small lug at the bottom of the door upwards away from the bottom of the cubby hole and then of course the spring mechanism opens the door up. I assume when you push the button in its not moving the lug upwards?Thats the simple bit I can think of two ways to resolve it the first is to remove the whole console something I wouldn't want to do but if needs must this will give you access from the inside to push the lug upwards. Personally I would attempt to get a thin blade in the gap of the door directly in the middle below the button and try to move the lug upwards while gently pushing the cubby door at the top inwards. May work may not other wise it looks like it plan B. Wish you luck
  9. It wasn't Botham was it?
  10. Not surprised there was some one who quoted a number on the right hand side one and it was a small part number of the unit at the bottom that is always lit up.
  11. Quite a few members, me included have bought a Clark motosport set up. Excellent quality, performance and price
  12. You need to tell us what type of garage, is it open, closed ,brick wall, cement floor is sealed or not maybe photos etc etc .
  13. For the last 40 years my wife has always had a small runabout and to be honest they have all been good save for the fiat panda which was the worst car i've driven in the last 45 years. Last year I got a bargain deal with the UP the local dealer who was selling the basic model at £6,500 new. Now I have to say its not the prettiest looking car but its an absolute joy to drive far superior to any of the previous cars with excellent quality build
  14. Double clutching, used be the norm before we got synchronised mesh ask anyone who had a car after the war.
  15. Ive used this company a few times bought chrome bolts for mine, http://www.custom-fasteners.co.uk/
  16. Ive have a scorpion box with berks hi flo cats combined with a stillen y pipe and finished of with vortech v3 supercharger. Sound is aggressive when it needs to be without pedestrians saying what the **** is that and it passes track rules on the decibel rating. Personally I like the scorpion, fitted now 4 years no problems at all.
  17. I agree with vlad, just sounds like a supercharger without oil, the oil also acts as a dampner when operational.

    Window tint

No worries mate stick a few photos up before and after, a picture tells a thousand words etc etc. If you push the button in and out when the door is open you'll see the window return to its shut position.
  19. FK 1000P designed specifically for high heat areas over 250C + used it for over 6 years never been let down.
