  1. Didn't most companies factor in 10%, so you couldn't blame the speedo if you got caught speeding? I think legally they now have to make it accurate... although I have no source / evidence to back this up! My SatNav (on my phone) is always set to show the gps speed, and ive noticed on all my cars the speedo speed is usually around 6->8% over. For example, 70mph on the sat nav is 76mph on the dash. That's why when I changed my dials I set my speedo to the nav
  2. +1 I had the same squeak, tried WD40 and only worked for a day or 2, got a spray can of white silicon grease and it's been silent ever since. Took about 3/4 applications once a week, basically position yourself so your head is looking up under the pedals (not easy especially when you are 6'4") and if you move the clutch pedal by hand you will see the offending spring, mine squeaked at about half way, just spay a decent amount of the grease on and manipulate it a bit As I said after about 3/4 goes it has been silent since, for about a year near enough....
  3. Spend about £7-8k and get a very good example of a 350, then keep saving.... who knows what could happen next year, the economy could be on the up or more likely even more in the $hit with petrol £10 a ltr and everyone cycling to work.... never put off for tomorrow what you can do today
  4. Why not buy a 350 at the bottom of the market, as long as it doesn't need to much doing to it then trade it for the 370 next year without losing an arm and a leg
  5. Buddy Club As loud as a K1 but not as chavvy Just be aware the cabin will vibrate like a rampant rabbit

  8. O2 sensor light will be because of the berks, only thing that clears them permanently is a remap, or you could try sensor spacers
  9. Why spend £100 on an OEM one you can get much better ones for cheaper...
  10. Not too much hassle really, tricky bit is the done section with the light & sunglasses holder, a pain to get out and has to be sprayed black to match. Totally transforms the interior
  11. If in doubt take them to a local tyre place they are more likely to give unbiased advice, kwik fit would just rub their hands together
  12. Oh yes i completely 'get it' mate and we all know how much you wanted to get out of the Z4... It is a HUGE amount of car for the money, complete and utter wafting luxury and plenty of power to boot
  13. If you spend another 2/3k on fitting a new engine it will still only be wirth 7k I don't quite see the point of not taking the insurance route You get paud out £7k then get to buy another roadster that hasn't had to have a new engine....
