  1. Great looking car. There are regular midlands meets, and usually a few driving from various directions that you could convoy with if you fancy it. Enjoy the Z. On a side I've recently started watching Midnight Wangan
  2. They certainly will We've got them on both our 370s. I saw some on a 350Z for the first time at the midlands meet, looked great.
  3. Thank you. If the Miltek 370z system was still available I'd get another one of them, not decided yet on system but definitely getting HFCs when it's time and cash allows. Unless she has my Z as a daily and this one is sold?
  4. Forgot, Cougar fitted an uprated Clutch and CSC kit as well as getting the servicing all up to date when we first got it. They also fitted rear adjustable camber kit to get geometry just in factory when the spring kit went on.
  5. Then got some Nismo MKii wheels, perfect Xmas present for your wife obviously. Went with 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 MPS4S all round. Uprated brakes: Stoptech Discs and pads, along with K&N drop in filters and ISR intake tubes. When the exhaust finally dies, it will be fitted with HFCs, a CATback and a trip down to Abbey for a MAP.
  6. So, obviously had to get the wheels done black and got some lowering springs from Torqen (see the thread but lowering springs are surprisingly good).
  7. Front was a bit chipped and Lorn wanted a bit more sporty So, go a some bits from Tarmac for the body, INGS lip, side skirts, rear spats and got it all painted.
  8. Thought I should start a thread for my wife's roadster. We bought it to replace her 350z roadster that I decided to use as a donor for the S12 project. Started off stock but Lorn soon decided she wanted some mods.
  9. Finally got round to getting the wings wrapped to match the bonnet, went with a faded version of the bonnet wrap. Not sure how easy it is to see on these pics but hopefully you get the idea.
  10. I've put the 265/35/19 305/30/19 on mine and the 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 on my wife's and we both love the level of feel and grip. I ordered through tyreleader and they took nearly 2 weeks to turn up from France but worth the wait.
  11. Yup, I didn't even do elbow bumps given I'm so close to leicester.....
  12. Yup, I'll second this, and a shout out to everyone who made the effort to get there.
  13. If it isn't sold and you fancy a last convoy out, give me a shout, I've pm'd you my number
  14. I've just put new MPS4Ss on my wifes 370z, went with a 265 35 on the front and 285 35 on the rear, feels great, no flashy lights or sizing issues.

  16. I'm hoping to bring 2 or 3 cars over from leicester, maybe more, some won't be Nissans but as long as they aren't Hondas
  17. Bugger I was going to see if I could get Seth over as well
  18. Nice ginger 350 btw, my first Z was a ginger GT coupe with the orange interior, loved it.
  19. I might be going from Leicester, the 19th is more than 2 weeks anyway since they locked us down......
  20. Well I'd stayed quiet up to now as I've bought from lots of traders and was planning on continuing to do so but as I've just been kicked from the private Battalion Z Torqen whatapp group and the FB Battalion Z Torqen pages I might as well speak up. I have been going down to Abbey for over 7 years, at least once, sometimes twice a year. As said in the Marks post above, modifying cars past the warranty envelope can cause problems. I've occasionally had technical glitches or problems after initial mods have been done, but Mark or Scott have always been available either on the phone or in person, often out of hours to sort the problem, however small. This has included late night logging and mapping sessions to tweak maps, and I've never received any additional bills for this extra support. We have had our heated moments over the years with regard to budget with my S12 VQ35 project build, but we've come to a very fair agreement and the work is immaculate. Just to re-iterate my opinion of Mark and the team at Abbey, I've always been very happy with the end result of any of the work done at Abbey and will continue to go back. Now the feedback bit, as per my starting comment, I've bought parts from Abbey, Tarmac Sportz and Torqen, along with many others (including GRAMS) and never been disappointed with the parts. Some have been cheap, some expensive, but all have served the exact purpose they were intended at the budget. (except for Seibon but you'll have to check out my thread on that...) As per the thread start and the comment on FB about slagging people, parts, companies off, and the recent slagging off Abbey received on the Battalion Z FB page. The other reason I'm replying is because it's not reasonable to be slagging people off when they have no ability to reply. And for reference, although I've been accused of being a grass, it wasn't me that fed the slagging off back to Abbey in the first place so someone needs to look closer to home! PS. I'll still recommend RS-R springs on a 370Z @Adrian@TORQEN as they are really good. And your ability to source rare parts is good as well. No need for anyone to screen shot that bit on here and send it....... Edit: A little bit sad that this is necessary......
  21. I've screwed and tiger sealed mine on and had no problems
  22. So a few days after the video above, I went down to see her in the metal and the engine bay looks factory. It looks like it was always meant to be in there, I cannot wait until I can do a shake down at Mallory or Donnington to get a feel for her. Thankfully Abbey have a Hunter Alignment rig so they picked up on the fact my suspension swap was a tad out of whack. The tension rods I'd fitted were way too short, so castor was stupidly high, this was a relatively easy fix with some skyline tension rods about 60mm longer than the S chassis ones I'd fitted
  23. She lives Getting close Watch until the end for the fruity exhaust blip
  24. Hope you got sorted, nice looking bit of carbon but as I'm sure lots of people have said, the problem is that it will just be sucking up hot air from inside the engine bay. Making up a box as you've suggested should help if you duct it with cold air from outside the engine bay.
