Agent, yes I did was out of the office all day yesterday will reply today. We are currently looking at associates that we are happy to work with around the country to sell the Uprev product for Abbey to make our experience more accessible for all the 350/370Z owners in the UK. We have 2 people sorted already but we are still looking for a couple of other associates in the UK area, It will be released very soon.

Had chap Mike ring me a couple of times regards gearbox oil issues I was going to email him the spec of our Motul oil took his email address down but i keep getting the email bouncing back, I think i wrote the email address down wrongly and I don't have a phone number. If Mike reads this flick me an email to mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk I know Mike is having his work down a Kaiser's that also on this forum. thanks

Always better to tune on a dyno and on our Dynapack dyno as well. But I can use the data logged running on another dyno and tune the car remotely via email or if we are really struggling I can remote in and tune the car live on the dyno from my desk. costing options? what for Uprev?

AFR figures before Uprev tuning
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to Mark@Abbey m/s's topic in Abbey Motorsport
Target AFR is in the stock calibration more to do with part throttle closed loop AFR Target MAP is below this uses the compensation map to get the injector end final figure i.e injector duty Stock compensation map below when you compare the stock compensation map to the Abbey tuned map to get the AFR in the target maps you see that's why the cars need tuning to be the proper gains from when mods are added; Abbey tuned compensation map we also tweak the AFR target maps but you get the jist of what I am saying. I am saying every car is different so that's why we say to get the best from the car it requires dyno work but we know the car's real well we can give a fairly good base map but the final works to make 100% spot on needs dyno time; when the car is in closed loop lower load area's the compensation map numbers if they are a far from the ideal position it takes time for the car to hit the AFR target so again we tweak the compensation numbers to make the car hit the AFR targets quicker. Stock map is computer generated with cold start hot start tweaks , when we tune it is done live so any changes in the car we tune for. hope this helps. -
1 of the things we notice when we tune the 350Z is how far the actual AFR’s are away from what the ECU require. So when we remap the stock ECU using the UPREV software we adjust the compensation map to hit the actual required AFR maps within the calibration loaded into the stock ECU. This is what we say even fitting performance enhancing mods the cars don’t give anymore bhp/torque until we re-tune the stock ECU YELLOW bank 2 AFR DARK BLUE Bank 1 AFR LIGHT BLUE required AFR STOCK MAP TUNED MAP on Abbey Dynapck Dyno Mark

flick me an email to mark(@)abbeymotorsport.co.uk we can discuss this further.

Yes tuning via datalogs will never be as good as tuning the car on our dyno but we do know these cars pretty well so the map wont be far away from perfect.

73k miles, worth doing an up rev or not?
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to agentdarkshadow's topic in Performance
No we have a car to use for development on this DE kit. -
73k miles, worth doing an up rev or not?
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to agentdarkshadow's topic in Performance
will be a different price to your's Peter , we can go for a different supplier for the DE cars , working on a new package price at the moment either Abbey fit the kit or we supply a box of bits with a base tune on a Uprev cable to be loaded into the car prior to coming to Abbey for a the final tune. I am working with suppliers to try and keep the price as cheap as possible kit will be bolted to a car prior to be released to make sure it is all spot on. -
does this you give you idea what we are up to @ Abbey?

Mark@Abbey m/s replied to agentdarkshadow's topic in Performance
We tuned car over 100K even supercharged a 125K 350Z with good results. As Spursmadedave said it isnt all about bhp gain, we smooth the car out better throttle response just make the car nice. Mark -
we are just off of the M25 @ Junction 6, carry out a better job than any main dealer , tea/coffee and toast is nice too I hear.

looks very nice for that mileage TBH. would make a nice weekend car for some one.

05 Roadster = £5k...Anyone know this car?
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to mouldie's topic in 350Z General
As I am looking for a Roadster for myself I thought I get someone to have a look at this car; This is what my friend reported after viewing the car; : 1. Exhaust system buggered in normal place 2. Different tires all round. N/s/r close to markers 3. Roof skin split on both sides where it meets rear 1/4. Drivers side being worse 4. Drive Belts needs doing. 5. Big fat alloy rad. To the extent that the air box doest fit too well. 6. Loads of stone ships on the bonnet. 7. Oil around dip stick hole. 8. Front bumper repainted. 9. Replaced o/s/f wing. Has a different chassis number on it. Chips in paint around the head light too 10. Bumper bar slightly dented. Also had rips in the top of it. 11. Drivers door a tad clunky when shutting and opening. ( could just need lubing up and adjusting. 12. I would say its done more then 55000 miles considering the gear knob and state of engine bay. doesn't look like it has had major damage as the chassis legs look straight and original. Normal other stuff needs doing compression arms bushes worn out drop links noisy. Maybe worth a bid if your up for a little work , will bid them next week. thanks -

Changed spark plugs but something not right.
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to RobPhoboS's topic in Servicing
They will need deleting in the UP REV map they will always come back on if you not running any CATS. -
We have tuned cars with both system's fitted. The Invidia dual systems don't give the mid range torque like the Milltek we have noticed over the 4+ years we have been tuning these cars. But both systems work well and sound well , the Invidia being a little more aggressive than the Milltek.

stock cars runs around 265bhp at the HUB we gain 12bhp and 10lb/ft of torque after tuning.
-
Afraid Abbey is in Surrey just off of Junction 6 of the M25. Stock HR 350Z gain around 10bhp and 10 lb/ft improved throttle repsonse and even better fuel economy. Dyno plots for stock HR versus UPREV( on Abbey Dynapack) tuned stock HR Uprev remaps at Abbey are £402-00 inc vat

Gonzo88, where are you based in the UK? We can tune your car a few ways , 1. come to Abbey for a remap on our in house Dynapack day. 2. We can supply a Uprev cable to allow you to upload maps tuned by Abbey 3. You can visit one of our Sub dealers we are setting up in the UK. let me know what you would like to do. any questions ask away. Mark
