  1. If you going to go S/C at a later date , we have built a few GTM S/C cars and have a couple more fitments in the pipeline you will need a good exhaust system and either remove the CATS or fit HFC (Berks) We use the Milltek system inc Y pipe we have these fitted to S/C and Twin turbo cars making nearly 500bhp so this system does flow the air require for around 500bhp , I cant voucher for other systems made for the HR engine 350Z thou. As your think of going F/I I would just drop some filters in the stock Air-boxes as well together with a UPREV remap your get a good gain and all these parts will work with your planned S/C conversion @ a later date. We are currently doing a deal on supplying and fitting a Milltek system; 350Z full exhaust system inc Y pipe + dyno tuned Uprev re-map HKS drop in panel filter package price £1236.80 inc vat- Exhaust system in stock We can add De-cat or HFC's to the above deal if so required. Here is some dyno plots of a HR motored 350Z stock versus Milltek system inc Y pipe/De-cat and drop in air filters. Hub figures. see good gains in torque and bhp, car will drive fair better as well better throttle response and even a little more MPG.
  2. We can offer courtesy car while you car is in for any work with us. I can also meet you outside work hours if that helps. Mark
  3. Found these Video's very good info for how the 370Z variable valve lift system works
  4. We build our own kit , but the LHD kits will fit on a RHD car. Stillen thou remove the PAS cooler fitted as standard locate the Oil cooler kit in this position then sell you another PAS kit to fit. we just fit our oil cooler in another position. Mark
  5. The one we had on the dyno had a drone that was annoying but it may of been a dud system. Have you had the car re tuned since fitment?
  6. Keep your Stillen the Fast Intention's will hurt your ear's.
  7. Strange Jez didn't say anything thou. I presume you mean cam timing not ignition timing?
  8. Thanks, So why is the motor a little less torque now? Mark
  9. With the news that Milltek have finally developed a full system for the 370Z Abbey are going to be offering a deal on a full exhaust for the 350 and 370Z cars with a UPREV remap and HKS drop in Panel filters. We are doing the following deal. 370Z Full NON resonated exhaust system inc Y pipe + Dyno tuned Uprev re-map HKS drop in Panel filters package price £1473.70 inc vat (Manual/Auto) 350Z full exhaust system inc Y pipe + dyno tuned Uprev re-map HKS drop in panel filter package price £1236.80 inc vat http://www.millteksport.com/ I have dyno plots for the Milltek system and Uprev on HR and DE 350Z cars , Will get these posted up early next week but normally seen gains of 10/15bhp and 10/15lb/ft torque with the above packages. Will get a 370Z on the dyno as soon as we see our 1st 370Z Milltek system in stock but I expect a gain of around 15+ bhp on the 370 system. any questions ask away.
  10. What's the difference between the 2 runs on the dyno plots Keyser?
  11. Going to remove the Quaife and fit a Nismo 2 way LSD Looking at fitting and tuning the Syvecs S6 for the excellent traction control. And yes I do still know how to go round corners.....
  12. yes use a funnel that fit's tightly in the rad neck to allow you to have a head of water/anti freeze above the bleed screw, this will force the air out.
  13. I think you still have air in the system , I presume the top and bottom hose's are hot to touch (careful) as they will be hot. The bleeding of the cooling system is hard to get spot on thou.
  14. Spacers cause issues with the KPI on the front of a Zed, these cars are always more "nervous" after fitting spacers. The move the pivot point of the front suspension indie the centre of the tyre ,so causing the steering to be more nervous. Fitting spacers will make no difference to the 4 wheel alignment figure as your only increasing the track width. But you car's alignment may not be in spec and the fitting of the spacers may have enhanced the issues. Get the car 4 wheel aligned then try the car then refit the spacers and see if the handling deteriorates. Mark
  15. We run the car with the stock map with the new exhaust fitted then we re-tune the stock ECU with the Uprev software , so your not actually seeing the full gain we have gained after the exhaust fitting and remap. But the main gains are the throttle response in the lower 3 gears and the gain in torque through out the rev range these only become apparent when driving the car not seeing figures on a dyno plot. I have put hub bhp and flywheel torque on the same dyno sheet for ease of viewing you see the car has gain through the rev range in both BHP/Torque. But as I have said above the dyno plot doesn't show the main gain after the remap using the Uprev software.
  16. Sorry guy's September has nearly gone and I haven't had anytime to sort a dyno day , looks like I should be able to do something at the end of October , I understand if this wont work for people. It will be a Saturday and the maximum amount of cars will be 10 on a Saturday . Get a list going for people interested and I will give you guys a date. Mark
  17. Ha ha. Should of said like a Stock car. No it fits under a stock bonnet.
  18. Had a 370Z brought to us with a Stillen bolt on Supercharger kit already fitted the car also had a full Stillen exhaust fitted (stock cats) Stillen oil and gear box cooler (Auto car) The tune in the car when it arrived was far to rich and it was removing timing due to picking up detonation; Took sometime to tune the car but after sometime on the Dynapack all was okay; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-09-19 By abbeymotorsport at 2012-09-19 By abbeymotorsport at 2012-09-19 The Stillen kit gives the same sort of bhp numbers to the GTM Stage 1 kit we have fitted but the torque is down , maybe due to the Auto and the way the auto's need tuning, but the car drive very nicely very strong at high RPM and drives like a stock car in traffic. Nice conversion.
  19. HR has tubular manifolds as stock which I am afraid flow real well , we have fitted a few sets of HR manifolds to DE motors with good results. We only fit these thou when we have the motor out for some work. Too much trouble to do with the motor in for the gains. I very much doubt your see a 10 to 15 bhp gain from a manifold change , the main restriction on the Zed exhaust set up is the stock Cats , running HFC helps a little with flow but running Decats give the best flow but can be noisy on some exhausts , the Milltek works well with de-cats thou on the 350Zed. We have been told about some other headers that do work but they remove the ability to fit cats to the car thou, they are made by http://www.ppeengineering.com/ Got some RHD stock header being shipped out to them to get them to jig up for RHD cars. I do feel you may see the steering column fouling on the RH header thou.
  20. 21. Agree it is expensive job but the gains are very good. I feel that the 350 with a S/C is as good as a 911 (what model 911 you looking at)
  22. I dont have any figures yet , Sam should do a tune next week. Also not got a price yet either but I know it will be higher than the single S/C kit on a 370Z that comes out over 12K I am afraid.
  23. Had this link sent to me from Sam @ GT Motorsport , we have fitted a few of his S/C and TT kits to 350 and 370Z's and he thought we would like to see his latest kit for the 370Z; so who wants the 1st kit outside the US then!!!!!!
