  1. Would prefer to only run till 2ish but willing to run to 4 if there are enough people but I would be happier if people will fill the earlier part of the day 1st , I don't want someone @ 4pm after not running from 12 if you understand what I mean.
  2. So people that want to run on the dyno can you put down your names agaisnt the below time slots please; 9.00 9.30 10.00 10.30 11.00 11.30 12.00 12.30 1.00 1.30 2.00 2.30 3.00 3.30 4.00 thanks
  3. UK 07 car (313bhp) the systems will fit on ANY 350Z. Delivery £20-00
  4. Hi, Day will start @ 8-30AM. What do people want to do with regards dyno runs , do you all want a time. We can turn the cars around in 30min intervals easily if they are N/A car. or do you not mind just to hang around and us work through a list of people waiting.
  5. Rob, good to meet you yesterday. Hope your pleased with the Milltek we fitted. Good luck to you and the fiancée. Mark
  6. HR requires the S8 instead of the S6 , as the HR run 2 throttle bodies and the S6 cant drive 2 x DBW throttle bodies. The ECU works in the same way , but also allows 2 x lambda's using origial Bosch LSU wide band lambdas. Where as the S6 only can run a single lambda which we run on the Odd bank , we can add after market external lambda'a thou but this will remove a couple of Inputs that can be used for datalogging purposes. We can add a oil pressure sensor/use the original oil temperature sender to provide trips for low oil pressure and low oil temp/high oil temps and also trips for water temp as well.I will work out a price for both the S6 fitment on a DE (REV UP we maybe able to use a S6 with the new I/O box being made by Syvecs) and the S8 fitment on a HR.Already working on a S8 fitment on a Twin Turbo HR build we have done already.
  7. Syvecs S6 is all up and running , traction multi maps switched by cruise switches all sorted , only thing to be done is setting up for basic cruise control.
  8. Spent a day @ CAT training http://catdrivertraining.co.uk/ yesterday on a Gymkana day which we had an awesome time. Managed to get some time using our own 350Z with the Syvecs S6 installed and tuned , down loaded some data after a run you can see the traction control being used , no throttle being shut when the traction is being used. The traction is totally tunable you can have different traction set up's switched by the cruise control switch on the steering wheel as well as different fuel/ignition maps and boost control levels if the car is Turbo charged. Should have Syvecs S6 fitted on a S/C car very soon which should give good results especially with traction control set up being used.
  9. will allow car to run without issues with NATS as well.
  10. Syvecs S8 GTR kit in stock good to go, to run the project when you are finished Alex.
  11. no need it is a open day/dyno day for you guys to have a look around/ ask questions .
  12. KW are good , had them on my Zed for a while , The Meister kit are every good as well with the stock springs fitted. I am currently running Sportline AST on my road zed which are awesome we also run AST triple adjustable Race kit on the Team Lizard Race car that work really good.
  13. We are going to open this up into a open day for your guys on here , so we will lay some nibbles on and hot drinks , we will have some cars on display in the workshop for everyone to have a look around. The dyno runs if it is just the people on the list will be done by 1pm ish but I will run other car if they want to run until around 3pm on the day. I will have some more details up on here in 2 to 3 days. thanks Mark
  14. When we 1st started to play around with spring rates , I first spoke to the damper suppliers to ask the question what the minimum spring rate they thought we could run , I then spent a day on a damper dyno to ensure the dampers actually adjusted the damper level to running the dampers adjustment @ the minimum position , I have seen dampers not adjust the damper level at the minimum/maximum position before. Only give good response to adjustment around the mid position of damper adjustment. We then tried the dampers on my own 350Z to ensure the set up worked. I have had considerable involvement with development with dampers are spending 7 years in Motorsport with the like of Panoz/Lister and Porsche (running GT1 and GT1 911's) to name a few and I feel with my time on the race track I can give good feedback with a suspension set up. before getting involved with car I spent over 15 years competiting in Moto-Cross at a top level which I feel is the most intense suspension environment this is where Ohlins started off with suspension design and development of suspension dampers. Tuning a damper for the road to get good comfort and good feel is pretty tricky ,over the years I have been in the Japanese tuning scene until a few years ago hard was good in suspension but now the top end damper development has spread down into the road market dampers we are getting so very good set up's at very competitive prices.
  15. It is only the MPG and fuel left information that is lost and if the car is tuned with big injectors that doesn't work anyway.
  16. Jez, Ryan sent the video over last night cant wait , He is down next week to use my dyno so he is going to re flash my CAN bridge for me then I can switch the maps without my laptop. do you want me to post the video up? Mark Will flick you a email re the S6 on the Zed soon Jez
  17. Just to clarify a fw things; Syvecs S6 is a different ECU that is fitted to the car it removes the old Stock Nissan ECU. You lose the cruise control and the MPG dash display But you gain a lot of top end ECU features like the excellent traction control full knock control and a huge amount of othe ritems like limp mode if the oil pressure drops of fuel pressure drops ( once other sensors have been added) The ECU is from the same family as the Life racing ECU. The S6 ECU is only available for the 276bhp DE motors at the moment , the REV UP AND HR will be developed over the next few months.
  18. Abbey Motorsport and Horsham Developments have both been doing Development work for Syvecs to get the S6 up and running on the DE engined 350Z for a month or so, I am to the point that I am happy to sell a plug and play kit for the DE N/A , been playing with the traction control and I thought you guys would like to see the traction control working. The DE car is the only car that we have up and running at the moment I hope to have a HR car sorted in a month or so , this will require a S8 or a S6 with another box as the cars with dual cam control and dual throttle's has to many input/outputs for the basic S6. Running the Syvecs S6 ECU in our development 350Z , mapping is nearly 100% finished for a totally stock car but I have been playing with the traction control set up , which people that own a 350Z is pretty dire on a totally stock 350Z . The Syvecs traction is very good but requires a lot of setting up, it can have multiple traction control maps for variable conditions. The damp morning this allows me to play with the car and the traction control. You can see the rear wheels spin up in relation tot he front wheels (we use a single front wheel speed for calibration of the traction control. With the traction set up the car is pretty awesome even in damp cold conditions, hope to have it on a F/I car very soon which will help the power delivery even more. Any one running F/I on a DE car needs traction control that the Syvecs S6 offers it is so good. I will have a cost for a Syvecs S6 install very soon.
  19. We wont be charging for the dyno runs Clown , they will be free of charge.
  20. Sorry for the the slow reply; Dyno runs will be Free of Charge ( we will carry out 4 to 6 runs) Afraid not to tune a car take's a minimum of an hour but sometime up to 2+ hours to tune the whole map so I am afraid I cant tune any car on the dyno day but your willing to book the car in for the Uprev ti be carried out. Marmite should be available thou........ Will have more details up for you guys very soon.
  21. The stock traction control on the Zeds isnt very good , shuts the throttle fully which is dangerous sometimes , been spending time with the Syvecs S6 Traction on my own Zed which is awesome just misfires enough to reduce enough power to stop the car going too sideways , traction is mapped against sideways G loading, more G reading more traction control.
  22. S/C provides boost in relation to RPM not load like a turbo. So at lower RPM the boost will always be lower.
  23. we run run 8kg front 6 kg rear on our road car upgrades.
  24. 30mm is lot on a Zed, to much if you ask me to be honest. It will destroy the roll centres the Zed runs pretty low re it arm angles as stock , we say 15/20mm max. Front cambers are adjustable stock but running around 15mm is about right add's a little camber to the front cambers to aid turn in, rear cambers to get spot on will require a camber/tracking adjuster kit thou. All the kits in question will work well just be carefully with the spring rate's thou as I have mentioned before.
