  1. DE/REV UP Supercharger kits for you guys to fit. Been looking at doing a package deal for a SC to enable you guys to fit yourself or have a local garage fit the kit and load a good start map to the ECU prior to tuning the car on our dyno. Would this be something that would interest you guys and girls? I have an rough idea on pricing I think we are looking around £5500/5800 inc vat for the complete kit INCLUDING dyno time kit will consist of; SC kit inc intercooler Injectors Uprated AFM Fuel return kit Uprated fuel pump Osiris standard kit inc base rev limited tune. Dyno time @ Abbey Motorsport. Give me some feedback please guys. Mark
  2. traction set up for both Syvecs ECU's are the same , we have the HR motor back in my 350Z so hopefully the development of the S8 will be finished very shortly.
  3. Good to meet you guys yesterday , very impressed with the exhaust and 370Z prepapration , shame the seat was a little tight.....pleased your happy with the tune , let me know how it goes once out on the track. Mark
  4. We hope to have a press release for the sub dealers very soon, they are very good tuners with a lot of experience. I hope to have these guys up to speed with the Zed tuning very quickly. We will be giving them full support. If you want me (mark) involved we can sort out your tune while I am at the tuner furthest north. Keep an eye on here guys n girls.

  6. What sort of gains might you expect on an HR with injens, berks/decats and milltek or invidia true duel exhaust? any thought on the best combinations? that will give around 20bhp over a stock car , mid range gains , sounds great even a little extra MPG
  7. trouble with any filter system is heat soak and alloy pipes we have found. Stock air filter kits work very well and suffer very little from heat soak. BUT the long tubes will give a small top end gains AFTER a remap and sound awesome, just your suffer from heat soak in traffic.
  8. VTC will be controlled by the Syvecs S6 the ECU will even output the correct CAN BUS signal to allow the stock dash to work of needed; Do you want ECU and plug,Map sensor and base map?

I don't think the G loading @ 30mph will cause the oil to un-cover the oil pick up unless the car was super low on oil , we normally only see oil surge on high G loading's normally only seen on the track where we would advise to run a larger baffled sump to keep the pick up pipe covered at all times. When you say the oil pressure drops are you sure that you not dropping RPM as well as the oil pump is driven by the crank so lower RPM will always mean lower oil pressure until you seeing enough RPM to cause the Oil pressure relief valve to be opened this is when the oil pressure will level off. Oil pressure will always be higher with a cold engine than a hot engine tho. Maybe worth having an auxiliary oil pressure gauge put on the car to allow oil pressure to be checked as the stock oil pressure sensors do start to read funny when they get old.

Syvecs is stand alone we use a patch loom to connect it to the Stock engine loom but it will be easy to wire up via a new loom to the engine but the good thing with the Syvecs all the hard base work is already done for you so after wiring the ECU it will be an easy job to fire up and tune the car. Any questions ask away , we can supply a S6 ECU and a base map and give you any help you require. Syvecs is the way to go TBH.
  11. VEMS wont control the cam's I am afraid. Either go for UPREV remap of the stock ECU or go with Syvecs which both control the stock cam control system. Also I doubt the VEMS will read the crank/cam signal that the VQ uses. Any questions thou ask away.

  13. DE and HR cars sound totally different I am afraid. You need to listen to a HR fitted with those parts , I think I have HR with those parts coming in tomorrow for a GTM Supercharger kit to be fitted, if you quick I am sure you can come and listen to it before it gets stripped.

  17. They are the same , we carry these and can do a far better deal than Sumo.
  18. Will have a fully fitted price very soon , but it isn't going to cheap S8 on itself is £2500+ vat + loom + map sensor+ lambda's + tuning but it is worth it on a big BHP car.

Hot off of the the press they say , S8 Syvecs Patch loom for the Nissan 350Z HR cars , allow for proper traction control, multi maps changed by the cruise control switch, boost control with multi levels again switched by cruise switch.   21. Agent, yes I did was out of the office all day yesterday will reply today. We are currently looking at associates that we are happy to work with around the country to sell the Uprev product for Abbey to make our experience more accessible for all the 350/370Z owners in the UK. We have 2 people sorted already but we are still looking for a couple of other associates in the UK area, It will be released very soon.

Had chap Mike ring me a couple of times regards gearbox oil issues I was going to email him the spec of our Motul oil took his email address down but i keep getting the email bouncing back, I think i wrote the email address down wrongly and I don't have a phone number.   23. Always better to tune on a dyno and on our Dynapack dyno as well. But I can use the data logged running on another dyno and tune the car remotely via email or if we are really struggling I can remote in and tune the car live on the dyno from my desk. costing options? what for Uprev?

Target AFR is in the stock calibration more to do with part throttle closed loop AFR Target MAP is below this uses the compensation map to get the injector end final figure i.e injector duty Stock compensation map below when you compare the stock compensation map to the Abbey tuned map to get the AFR in the target maps you see that's why the cars need tuning to be the proper gains from when mods are added; Abbey tuned compensation map we also tweak the AFR target maps but you get the jist of what I am saying. I am saying every car is different so that's why we say to get the best from the car it requires dyno work but we know the car's real well we can give a fairly good base map but the final works to make 100% spot on needs dyno time; when the car is in closed loop lower load area's the compensation map numbers if they are a far from the ideal position it takes time for the car to hit the AFR target so again we tweak the compensation numbers to make the car hit the AFR targets quicker. Stock map is computer generated with cold start hot start tweaks , when we tune it is done live so any changes in the car we tune for. hope this helps.
