  1. The early cars , DE and REV UP had the Sat Nav under the flip up cover. The late cars HR had the Sat Nav on view all the time. this is from the registration number; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-08-14
  2. It could be a Rev Up as Ian said but cant be a 313bhp car as per the bonett fitted. The HR car's had the Sat Nav on view?
  3. isn't even a 313 car , look at the dash in the interior pictures early car. Just got a 313 bonnet fitted on an early car.
  4. Wasso, you have de-cats fitted at the same time thou. Normally we find there isn't a difference in noise between stock Y pipe and after market Y pipe.
  5. Get a group of zed owners together and a dyno and we can work a deal out for me to fly over to tune the cars.
  6. Uprev add some software into the stock ECU when we 1st flash the ECU to allow us to tune your ECU , nothing is hard wired in and the can be put back to stock if needed. Piasini tuning require some soldiering on the circuit board to allow the map to be changed, normally a generic map that isnt tuned to your car. I dont know if it can be put back to stock either. Piggy back modifies the outputs from the stock ECU like E manage or F-con where as the Haltech outputs its own fuel and ignition signals but is using the stock ecu for a few other signals and to keep the car happy with regards can bus etc etc. We will soon have a proper stand alone after market ECU for the zed's will be on the dyno soon to start the development on this system with our own car.
  7. What did we do on your car GaryGTD? Nos will give you a gin like Wasso had fitted but the bottle runs out pretty quickly , good fro the drag strip but not on the road to be used all the time.
  8. does it still idle correctly Kev?
  9. the HR engined 350z doesn't have full time knock control like the 370Z I am afraid, without going to have a look I think they are only knock controlled up to around 5K. Get it on super unleaded ASAP is my answer.
  10. to have anything done or a tweak to the current loaded map your need to go back to RS Tuning , if you want any other tuner to tweak the map it will need to be remapped from scratch.
  11. Having a surf around found this , Tim is showing the guys a Zed can go pretty quickly By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-28 drag strip times; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-28
  12. Cant find these codes; P0146, P0147, P0166 and P0167? so are you sure they are the correct codes? Are you running de-cats or HFC's? If so I would just turn the rear lambda's off that will stop any rear O2 codes being flagged up also turn off P0420/0430 catalyst efficiency codes ( these always throw CELS when the cats are removed or sometimes when HFC's are fitted) The P1283 code would need looking into thou , maybe have a look to see if the a difference bank to bank on the front O2 lambda voltages.
  13. presume you mean his code; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-26 This is normal when the lambda are starting to deteriorate or fail.
  14. You can turn off the any CEL using the Uprev software; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-24 This is a pretty rare code to see as Jez said before , normally means the car is starting to see a AFR that it shouldn't be seeing. By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-24 This is the code you normally see when you fit De-cats or HFC's to a Zed, this is what people fit O2 spacers to to try and cure this CEL problem, spacers just keep the rear O2 sensors out of the exhaust gas so trying to stop the O2 sensor sniffing the exhaust gas. By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-24 You do see this occasionally if the tune isnt spot on , i.e the front O2 sensor measures a AFR that is different to the AFR ratio in the AFR layout map like below; By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-24 hope this helps.
  15. You could of only masked the problem, as Jez said it isn't the normal cat efficency CEL you get when you remove the CATS. Really needs the short term fuel trimming checked, it could be a front lambda detoriating or failing. I would not be happy with thinking that the O2 spacers have cured the problem.
  16. car loom doesn't connect up to HR engine loom , you need to make a bridging loom. Front composite panel different. doesnt matter on a N/A conversion but does when you fit either S\C or Turbo conversion. Fuel pipe's dont fit, modification needed Radiator/header tank doesn't fit. ECU needs the NATS turning off.
  17. Full engine strip to fit con-rods and pistons I am afraid. HR motor is a far better motor to tune good for 500+bhp stock
  18. The DE kit you can use a Vortech kit which is a lot cheaper than the GTM HR kit , but if you require HFC,s full exhaust system and the full SC kit your looking at over 9K easily I am afraid.
  19. I tuned a built 350Z Rev Up a few weeks a go , chap drove over from Denmark for Abbey to tune his car, rods/pistons/Cosworth cylinder heads/cams, headers , Cosworth Plenum, basically had the Cosworth kit fitted, after extensive tuning it had gain around 30bhp over a stock Rev Up car, all the torque/power over 4500 rpm. I think for the same money but using a S/C you would of gain around 100bhp over a stock car and not had to work the car so hard. NA tuning for big bhp is expensive
  20. We can provide a drive in and out service for all the items you has listed.
  21. Totally different kit on a HR car to your DE car and the motor in a HR is far stronger , the DE motor we don't like to tune it over 360/400 hub bhp due to the weak con rods fitted. But with a DE motor budget around 7K+ for a drive in any out , have a search around the forum there will be some dyno plots of Stock DE motors fitted with SC tuned by us @ Abbey
  22. Fitted and tuned another SC kit on a HR 350Z last week, stock motor, stock headers, Berks HFC,s, Milltek Y pipe exhaust system. still running stock clutch; before and after dyno runs ( car only had stock CATS and Y pipe but had been Uprev tuned before we saw the car) By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-23 By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-23 By abbeymotorsport at 2012-07-23
  23. £402-00 inc vat. Before and after dyno plots.
