  1. using v max unleaded and that is as far as my mechanical skills go so got no hope of checking my intake pipes !! . It's a little difficult to judge on the detail given. If it's a brief hesitation that could be because of the way the standard car is programmed to have a lazy throttle response in the first 3 gears and an uprev re-map would help that (the car doesn't use a throttle cable - you pushing the throttle simply send a signal and the ECU then tells the engine/fuelling what to do). Equally, if you have some sort of after-market air filter, which is open to the elements inside the engine bay (ie. not inside a box)you can get some heat soak which can make the car hesitate when you put your foot down (that can be particularly noticeable in hot weather). If it's a really noticeable coughing and spluttering that would need to be looked into more. Good luck. It's pretty uncomfortable trying to drive it around town in heavy traffic at slow speeds due to the sparodic coughing and spluttering . But as soon as you are going more than about 25 mph then it's smooth as you like!!! Welcome to the forum You'll find it is probably just you getting used to the high biting point they are not happy cars at slow speeds if you're adamant there is something 'wrong' find your nearest independent specialist and get them to take it for a road test

  13. The one day track insurance isn't worth the paper its written on - its only for impact - i.e. if someone hits you - you're more likely to go off on your own Competition car insurance do a standard annual cover that includes up to five track days a year - most folks seem to think they're good. You did look a bit green when you got out the R35 though not as green as Neil last year You're sensible to leave the TC on for your first couple of sessions - you'd kick yourself if you ended up in the barriers - you would've only seen it kick in at Clarks and the hairpin if you were really pushing on anyway First time I took mine off I did a perfect 360 coming out of the chicane when I hit the netting on the grass (with Mr T in the car )

  19. i got this problem, what did you do to fix it? This ... it does work If you pull back the rubber boot on the clutch fork on the side of the gearbox then you can get in to lub quite easily with a WD40 aerosol or similar. Also try lubricating the fulcrum and spring at the top of the clutch pedal.
