  1. It's become a bit intermittent - reckon it might have been some dirty petrol or a bit of dirt in the jets ??
  2. using v max unleaded and that is as far as my mechanical skills go so got no hope of checking my intake pipes !! . It's a little difficult to judge on the detail given. If it's a brief hesitation that could be because of the way the standard car is programmed to have a lazy throttle response in the first 3 gears and an uprev re-map would help that (the car doesn't use a throttle cable - you pushing the throttle simply send a signal and the ECU then tells the engine/fuelling what to do). Equally, if you have some sort of after-market air filter, which is open to the elements inside the engine bay (ie. not inside a box)you can get some heat soak which can make the car hesitate when you put your foot down (that can be particularly noticeable in hot weather). If it's a really noticeable coughing and spluttering that would need to be looked into more. Good luck. It's pretty uncomfortable trying to drive it around town in heavy traffic at slow speeds due to the sparodic coughing and spluttering . But as soon as you are going more than about 25 mph then it's smooth as you like!!!

  4. It's got full Nissan service history and had its last service about 1000 miles ago! You'll have to excuse me sounding thick but what do you mean by an up rev???
  5. Hi guys , I've just bought a 350z facelift model and am loving it to bits.however I do have a small problem that I Need to get looked at - at low revs driving in town I am finding the car is coughing and spluttering occasionally but as soon as you give it some gas it's fine. I live in Swansea and was wondering if anyone could recomending a 350z specialist in my area Many thanks
