The car is looking great! I love the Pearl white colour ... looks like they've done an excellent job.

My head light washers have also seized up due to the cold ... and also having problems with the windows not moving until the car is warmd up too ...

I'm not sure about the double phone adapter but I had an old Nokia style cradle when I purchased my Zed .. After some messing around I found that there were 2 buttons on the sides which you push to remove it ... Once removed you can replace it with a bluetooth dongle as shown in the above post ... Worked a treat for me!

LoL ... I had the same problem when I changed from my FTO to my Zed ... thought I would never get used to it as all my previous cars were imports .. but after a month or two i was alright ...

My indicator stalks are on the left also .. and I have a UK Zed. In my experience imports have the indicator stalks on the right-hand side ... I wouldn't worry, just make sure that the insurers are aware that it's a UK Spec Zed ... you'll probably save some money too!

I've had similar problems with online insurance quotes ... especially comparison websites ... Which side are the indicator stalks on your zed?

Its a UK car thats been over there 8months. Its much less of a risk than buying a JDM import IMO That's maybe true but I Personally wouldn't buy it ... I like to know as much about the car as possible and that means only looking at UK cars with clean HPI's ... I did 2 different HPI's on my zed prior to purchasing ... glad I did as 1 supplied more information than the other in certain areas and vice versa ...

That must be great fun ... and a bit scary at the same time!

Personally I wouldn't buy a car from another country ... Purely for peace of mind ... But hope all goes well for you if you decide to go for it..

That's a great tip about holding down the recirc/fresh air button ... I will have to give that a go first thing tomorrow ... It's brilliant what you can learn from this site
