  1. I'm after an exhaust and Y pipe for my 05 Z. I'd rather buy 'nearly new' to save some cash so if anyone is selling up then please let me know.
  2. Just spoken to them and they are going to call me back. Their ears pricked up when I mentioned the owners club and a group buy!
  3. was just about to post the same suggestion myself...
  4. that's where i got the idea, but they only do 2007+ according to their website. I have emailed them though. It's exactly what I'm after.
  5. Does look good, but I'm just not sure I want to cut my front bumper up! I guess it may go over the top of the slats...
  6. I'm interested in this. Has anyone replaced the standard plastic slats with black mesh?
  7. Recruiters are a waste of time imo, especially with a saturated market at the moment. It's all about networking. Are you on LinkedIn? www.linkedin.com Adults Facebook basically but it has jobs advertised and more importantly you can email people who work for companies you may be interested in. Ask for advice first, then a job may follow...
  8. have you seen the running costs though A porsche 911 would be cheaper...
  9. I had a 182 Cup before the Z and it was a great driver's car. Crap quality interior (not that the Z is much better) and I had an electrical issue but it was superb to drive on the road and track. I was keeping up with Astons at Brands becasue they couldn't carry speed through the corners It did 40mpg on the motorway too and was suprisingly good at cruising.
  10. tested mine out at a track day recently. It really does make heal 'n' toeing easier. Great upgrade!

    New Springs

I went for Teins in the end. Whilst I'd prefer the look of Eibachs, my car just scrapes some speed bumps as it is. With a 30mm drop I'd have no chance. I had it on track at Snetterton last week and it was great, although I could do with reducing the roll a touch.
  12. I've booked in last minute for a track day tomorrow at Snetterton. New front brakes pads haven't arrived yet though so I'm going to have to take it easy, and hope it's wet. Does anyone live nearby and happen to have a spare set of pads in the garage in case!? Long shot I know...
  13. Got mine on Friday too. Thanks for sorting this.
  14. Have to say I agree. I was I think second on the list for a K2 and I now have to wait 8 weeks if I want one! It wouldn't have been hard to ask customers in order if they wanted to pay now as stock was in short supply. I will be very suprised if there are the same number of customers there in 8 weeks...
  15. Did you do this in the end?
  16. Great thread, but a question that came up way back on page 1 or 2 hasn't been answered. If you replace just the head unit and use all the correct connectors, does the BlueTooth handsfree still work as normal through the speakers?
  17. The Teins are a good option too if you want a slightly smaller drop and want to save some cash. Camskill currently have the best price.

    Springs

Recently fitted Teins to my car, with 20mm spacers. Nice drop of 17mm front and 14mm rear, so looks are improved and handling is a bit tighter without the problem of scraping on anything. Cheapest price I found was from Camskill.
  19. There was a guy in our session who had his GTR delivered 2 weeks ago. We had a good look round it and a sit inside. He said he has owned 911s, TVRs etc and the GTR is easily the best in every respect. He previously had a Z too and spoke very highly of it.
  20. I was there for the 8.20am start with a friend. We got stuck into the bacon nice and early! I was pretty unimpressed when they said the cars for track were going to be left hand drive and auto. Add to this a very slippery and damp track, an unfamiliar car and an unfamiliar track, and the instructor really started to pee me off when he kept grabbing the wheel and shouting at me to use all the track, then telling me to be careful of the grass! I wish they'd just let you get into the flow of it like you can on a track day, instead of trying to make you drive at 100% the moment you leave the pits. Not the way to do it imho. Still, managed to score 89%, although I think these scores are to make you feel good about yourself Hats off to Nissan though for arranging the day and not charging. It was great to drive the 370, although I wouldn't consider replacing my 350 with one. It felt much softer, and really pitched and dived under acceleration and braking. I also thought the steering had less feel ,and the gear change had a slightly more rubbery feel to it. There was less (good) noise too, and this made it feel slower than the 350. I'll have to start saving for a GTR then...
  21. think it's due to end at 4ish, but there may be a few still around so may be worth driving past
