  1. I've recently tried Poor Boys Natual Look Dressing for the first time and tbh I don't like it. It leaves such a flat, matt look that the interior looks worse than before! (even though it may be clean). Can anyone recommend an alternative that isn't greasy or slippery but that leaves a subtle shine?
  2. I'd stay away from Wonder Wheels. It's very acidic and can damage them over time. I use some stuff I found on here-Muk Junkie. They make stufffor bikes but also wheels. It is acid free and really good at getting rid of brake dust etc. Cheap too! It was half price when I bought it. http://www.mukjunkie.com/product/ACID_F ... 254.01.1AW
  3. I know it's a long shot but if anyone has any of the following items for sale second hand or will do soon please PM me. Pop Charger LED rear lights (genuine Nissan) Tonneau cover Stubby aerial Trying to save some cash over buying them new. Thanks!
  4. Are these springs any different to the Eibach ones in terms of spring rate and the amount they lower the car?
  5. Maybe a wheel weight could have dropped off on the motorway? This may be more noticeable at certain speeds.
  6. Just got a reply-free postage for forum members
  7. I've messaged him to see if he can do a discount for forum members...
  8. excellent. Discount for Z members!? Do they just stick on with 3m tape?
  9. It does sound like it could be the front right tyre, but as I mentioned they are pretty new and visually it looks fine. It also passed an MOT a few weeks ago.
  10. I didn't realise Nissan actually made them? These are supposed to be ali so should be better quality.
  11. I have reasonably new Dunlop tyres fitted to the standard Rays at the front of my Z. At 60-70mph there is a strange rythmical droning sound coming from the front of the car (no it's not the other half in the passenger seat). It is quite loud and sounds bit like when you drive over the rumble strip on the motorway, although not as severe. It also comes and goes in waves randomly. The weird thing is as soon as I go over 70mph is disappears and everything is smooth. The tyres have loads of tread and don't seem to be wearing unevenly, and the steering wheel itself doesn't vibrate. Despite this could it be the tracking? It was checked last year but I guess one pothole could have knocked something out? Is my car possessed by a speak-freak ghost?
  12. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT Not sure what the quality will be like. Has anyone tried them?
  13. After searching for weeks I finally picked up my Z on Friday. 05 Gun Metal with Rays, GT pack and satnav and 34k miles. I travelled all the way from Herts to the Scottish Borders to collect it. Needless to say the drive back was pretty good. There were some incredible roads and the weather was perfect. What a way to be introduced to V6 power. And the sound is just I won't put any pics up yet as it's juts a standard car, although it has a drop-in K&N filter. I already have spacers to fit and a few other subtle things to do so will get some pics up once complete. Looking forward to the Ace Cafe meet!
  14. Still after some of these. Let me know if you have a pair sitting in the garage!
  15. Great idea. Cheapest ferries are from Dover to Dunkirk with Norfolkline http://www.norfolkline.com/ferry/?campa ... 4wod5m5wWw Would be great to head over with a huge convoy.
  16. I'm going to look at a Z on Friday. Is there a central Nissan database that any dealer can access i.e. can I phone up and give them the Reg so they can tell me if the car has had any warranty work done etc?
  17. Yes. I would rather go for genuine Eibach complete with bolts etc though.
  18. As above-I'm after a pair of 20mm spacers ASAP. Ideally 2nd hand to keep the cost down Cheers
  19. A very rough photoshop: And in another colour:
  20. I've been searching through pics for a while and can't find one of a standard GM Z on the normal 18" Rays, but in black. Has anyone done this? I'm thinking about satin black but would like to see an example first. I'm sure someone must have done it!
  21. No probs there. My previous car was an RX7 with 370hp and no traction control! Had some interesting fish tailing moments during winter... I think black wheels with a coloured rim look excellent and really highlight the size, but it's not a look I'm going for. I want a very subtle look. I may look at other alloys but it seems a bit of a waste when I will already have a very nice set of forged Rays!
