  1. I've still got the Bose but had the dash out to fit Nurrish's satnav. It has never fitted correctly and always pulls away slightly at the top, meaning that it doesn't fit flush lower down. I'm forever pushing the top back in near the base of the windscreen. Very annoying!
  2. I'm off to a Car Limits day tomorrow and checked my coolant just now when I got back in. Hot engine, but it was right on the min level. Does this mean it will be low when cold too? Can I top it up with water until I can get some coolant?
  3. I currently have the Scorpion exhaust (rear section only) and having heard some other cars with aftermarket Y-pipes, I think I'm going to try one. The Scorpion on its own is great, but a little extra volume and some pops and bangs would be nice Before I look at new ones, does anyone in the Herts/Bucks area have one for sale?
  4. http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/ Great place.
  5. PC is much more durable
  6. Don't assume that vibration is DTV. It is often casued by uneven deposits of pad material on the disc. See here: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/tech_ ... pers.shtml Re-bedding in the brakes can help remove the old layer and apply a new one, curing the problem.
  7. Great-thanks for the info guys-I'll sort it.
  8. I'm talking a few mm though. Should be able to sort it with the right products. It's only on the the surface. Isn't there some king of anti-corrosion warranty!?
  9. I have a small spot of rust under my fuel filler cap, and another where the rear light joins the rear-quarter panel (pics to follow). Can anyone suggest a good way to treat them and get rid?
  10. I wish people wouldn't get so excited by this post. As long as the coating is baked on at the correct temp then it's not an issue. If it was, companies like this www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk wouldn't exist. Like anything, if it's done correctly, it's not a problem.
  11. Great advice, and very thorough-thanks May just go for AG custom wheel cleaner as I can pick it up down the road
  12. I had the same dilemma. I went for the Teins and haven't regretted it. Definitely lower but I clear speed humps etc just and haven't scraped the front.
  13. Where is the best/cheapest place to get some G101 and Bilberry/Autosmart wheel cleaner from? I have PM'd Envy without success. Do people recommend Bilberry over the other wheel cleaners available? I want something that requires minimal effort as I have 19" multi-spoke wheels!
  14. Already PM'd but I think someone may have got there quicker!
  15. Still available if anyone wants to lose the factory look of their Rays
  16. I have some Ace alloys and needed spacers to clear the brakes. I went for 25mm front and 20mm rear to give overall offsets of ET15 all round.
  17. Yes it's definitely louder from in and outside the car. I don't think i'll fit a y pipe as it will be that bit too loud and drown out the popcharger etc. A guy at the flats where i live has a stage 2 exhaust on his Exige S and no cats by the sound of it - and all you can hear is exhaust noise (from about a mile away). Not my cup of tea...
  18. I have one and am next to J20 of the M25 if you are ever nearby. Standard Y pipe at the moment. The noise is great-fairly subtle but definitely louder than stock. No rasp-just a grunty growl.
  19. I have recently changed my wheels so no longer need these Eibach hub-centric spacers. They are just a few months old and come with brand new nuts as I already had an old set. They are also sprayed black with high temp paint so won't show up when fitted. They are very easy to fit and just slip over the existing studs on the hub. A must if you are running standard wheels. Personally I wouldn't go for the cheaper makes. Not when they are the only thing attaching the wheels to the car! £85 delivered to mainland UK. Please post on here then PM if interested.

  21. Love the wheels We need to arrange a drive out soon in the Herts/Bucks area. Anyone up for organising it? I would but I'm getting married in a week and a half so I'm a bit busy...
  22. I'm after some of these but just can't afford to buy them from Zmanalex at the moment (because of a lack of cash, not his high prices!). Does anyone have a used set for sale, perhaps if they are selling their car and previously upgraded?
  23. Mine are done to 110lb and I've never had a problem with them. Whenever I check them they are all tight. I'm guessing they are not Eibach spacers? There seem to be cheaper versions coming onto the market place and personally, I wouldn't trust them...
