  1. Gotta love a bit of Nismo action. Welcome to the OC
  2. ......jolly good fellow......and so say all of us. Thanks for all the hard work
  3. Welcome to the OC Finding your way here is one of the biggest advantages you could have when looking to buy and owning a zed.
  4. Cheers Just ordered a clear one from the same supplier. May have to wait for nicer weather to apply it though.
  5. I have a dehumidifier in the cellar. I use the water it collects to rinse the cars sometimes as it's mineral free. I try not to dry the car if I wash at night in case I miss a bit of dirt. Don't fancy rubbing dirt into the zed with a drying towel! When I say wash at night I don't mean in thee dark though I do use lighting.
  6. That's one hell of a haul for the money! If i managed to bag that lot, my family would be recieving detailing samples for Christmas for many a year to come
  7. There was a thread on AvForums about this. I remember years back, if I wanted to convert friends to a home AV system I'd play them the lobby scene from The Matrix. I think the lobby scene from John Wick 3 Parabellum now takes the top spot. Even playing the 2 scenes back to back on the phone via headphones shows so much slam and spine tingling echoes bouncing off the walls! CECtu-lJNS0 What's your most memorable cinema/film piece of 2019?
  8. Oooooo..... forgot about wrap! Just googled it. Is it really as easy as this? If so I may try this next as C4 never lasts more than a year or so with my car parked facing the sun. Be good if you could recommend a particular film
  9. If you don't have a machine polisher, for the sake of £7.50 these will save alot of elbow grease if you have a cordless drill to attach them to https://www.amazon.co.uk/WINOMO-Polishing-Sponge-Buffing-Adapter/dp/B071LFWJ3Y Just remember to mask the surroundings and don't go too hard or fast which can create best and damage.
  10. Try whatever polishers you have in your arsenal first. From T-cut to Megs Metal Polish they all will remove oxidation. Then something like Gtechniq C4 to seal it for a year or 2.
  11. Finding that pristine example must be like finding a needle in a haystack! Glad it found a good home.
  12. Damn......you got good eyes .
  13. Finished washing the Zed. I got some streaking when using the Dry and Shine on the bodywork without drying afterwards. So ever since I only use it on the wheels after washing. The wheels haven't had a thorough decon for 1&1/2 years. Just washed with car shampoo weekly with Optimum Optiseal every few weeks. 100% converted to this Turtlewax Dry and Shine now for rims. Especially in the wet winter. Even get nice beading inside the wheels/barrels
  14. I discussed motor legal cover with eSure asking about their clause where they reserve the right to not to provide legal cover for incidents where they think they may lose. Basically they said that was correct. If they feel the case is difficult and they may lose......they won't provide any legal assistance.
  15. What a way to return to the OC....... with a 370z Nismo! Look forward to hearing about your exploits
  16. Ooooops......meant to write Donut Media I follow these guys on YouTube. They've recently bought 2 zeds. One is being modified with cheap parts, the other with expensive. They then compare the "bang per buck" Here's a few on brakes, tyres, suspension to get you started I think Dan will be contacting them regarding their choice of Bridgestone over Michelin
  17. Just started watching this. Opening car scene was pretty insane
  18. Just a simple wash this morning for the Kia then BSD/CGV07 MIX 50:50 as a drying aid.
  19. The Pandora Arcade unit was received today. Very well packaged. All working WONDERFULLY WELL. As I was testing it out, my 8yr old who totally dismissed the idea of this non PS4 device as rubbish couldn't wait to get his hands on it . Many thanks
  20. A charger is really good even if the car is driven but just infrequently and shorter trips. My wife's car only does a few short trips a week. 5-10 min a time. I'll hook it upto a charger a few times a year to fully charge. Same with our family car which is only driven Friday and Saturday. The batteries in all of our 3 cars are around 8yrs old and still going strong. I've been using this cheap AA one for years. Allegedly senses the battery condition similar to a Cteck and adjusts the charging accordingly until full and then switches to trickle maintenance mode. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AA-Battery-Charger-Maintainer-Batteries/dp/B00DW6RHN2
  21. Interested in the Pandora box.....PM sent Ps is it a Pandora box 6?
  22. With no disrespect This reminds me of a Blue bottle fly! Mesmerising colour Used to see loads as a kid but not seen one in years........the flies not the zeds
  23. Loving the second pic. We don't see enough of sunset orange. Keep on representing the orange brigade
  24. Hope everything goes well for you Chris whether you need to sell or not.
