  1. Cant see any evidence of it being in an accident no. Had full HPI check when i got it,and been under it and pulled it apart numerous times. Paint work is all original too.
  2. What spec fronts did you go for,and are they worth it?
  3. By the way, Atomic Wheels are very good. Was shown all the ins and out, explained everything and was very satisfied with their work, also have the Hunter Hawk Eye kit. Great place for anyone in or around MK, as the only other place near by is Tyres Northampton, which is 30 minutes away.
  4. Just had a full geo check done on my car at Atomic Wheels over the road from my house in Milton Keynes, just off junction 14. They have adjusted as much as possible, but the technician said that to get the caster within a decent spec, that I would need adjustable Front top wishbones. This will decrease the wear on the inner edges of my front tyres. Has anyone else come across this before, and is it something worth doing?
  5. You havnt got a K+N typhoon fitted by any chance do you? Is the rest of the dash working?
  6. Agree,i was hoping to see better pics of the Capri and the Chevette and the other rally cars. Its a McLaren Honda F1 car. Looks like MP4-6 or around there.
  7. So I wont have it on my pre face lift interior then. Thought id gone blind and missed something
  8. If im going through a 30 zone with no speed humps,il put it in 6th,and put the cruise control on. On my estate there are lots of speed ramps,so usually use 3rd or 4th.
  9. You may struggle with the passenger side window, as it does not have a one touch operation like the drivers, though it may make no difference. Id love to get a one touch passenger window sorted

I have an Omega Sea Master. Iv always wanted a nice classy watch, and after i passed my probation at RB I treated myself to it. I personally like the engineering and the detail of nice watches,as I do on any piece that is well engineered and has good attention to detail. I had it serviced this year, and yes it was expensive, but at the same time, the place told me that it had appreciated in value by £400, and I could trade it in if I wanted to. Its all about what floats your boat at the end of the day. I wouldnt buy a TAG, but then thats me.
  12. Would love to come and meet some new people, but im fully booked that weekend so wont be able to come. Sorry.
  13. Happy birthday Tim,have a great day.
  14. Pic on the way,but dont want it to be a Zed Shed, want to kit it all out so i can detail my car and Estelles in there. Nice, might have to take a pic tomorrow so we can have an Azure in a Garage off Detailing shed sounds good Bring it on! lol Hope to get it all clean and tidy in there, get a shed to put the gardening stuff in so its out of the garage.
  15. Its a snug fit through the doors, but fits nicely in there. Got a new numberplate to go on,and when its abit emptier,it will be easy to park it in a way so that i can get all the way around it.

  17. Well after we moved in back at the end of March, and had a really hard job getting the garage and the house clean and tidy, im so pleased that finally today I had cleared enough space and washed the floor so the Datsun could get in. Next stage is fully painted walls and floors, along with some decent lighting, and boarding the roof.

    Jaguar XK120

Congratulations on the big day. Car is stunning.
  19. Went back to Autoglass yesterday to discuss the leak on my passenger window. When i picked the car up at the time, they explained that the previous owner had pretty much ruined the A pillar mounts, and the crack that has always been at the base of my passenger side A pillar cover is evidence of that. When I took it in yesterday, they covered the side of the car in water, and we couldnt find a leak. The Autoglass man took the whole seal off,and put it back on,so we shall see what happens now. Is it still possible to get new window seals? Autoglass man also suggested that if new seals dont work, then il need to replace the whole A pillar cover!!!!!!! Though i cant see what difference this will make
  20. My mums husband got a CL 500 a year ago,and it is pretty epic. His one is the later engine and gearbox,so its a 7 speed auto. At 70mph its just above 1k RPM. The later 500,s were a NA 5.4 i believe, where as the earlier ones were a 5l. He had a CLK before that, and he thought it was rubbish. Build quality was shocking, and the feel and touch of everything was worse than my mums mk1 SLK (his words not mine) If you can afford it,go for the CL,its a total barge, but its a epic way to travel. Yes the wood trim is abit gash, but you can wrap that,or im sure buy some aluminium replacements from somewhere. Remember Top Gear,Clarkson bought one,and needed to replace the coil pack,at £1200 or something. So be warned,it maybe 10k now,but its still a £100k car when it goes wrong. Also, sourcing tyres can be an issue, as the Merc ones are specific to the CL i think.
  21. Screen was replaced due to a massive crack caused by me putting the heater on when the car was covered in snow.
  22. Had a new windscreen fitted a while back, and with all the rain we have had has highlighted that something is wrong. Im getting a leak from the passenger side seal area. Il come back to the car and find a few drips on the inside of the window and on the tweeter cover. Iv pulled the seal off and put it back on,which seemed to help abit, but im still getting the leak. Has anyone else had this issue with a new windscreen? Is it the seal or the A pillar cover that possibly leaking?
