I share your pain mate. Took my Zed down to Nissan this morning to get the rear indicator fixed as it had popped out and was told i needed a new rear bumper Will be paying my local friendly bodyshop a visit in the new year to what other options may be available.

As a fellow rev up engine owner that's really helpful, I think a trip down to Envy in the New Year could be on the cards.

Have you ever delivered pizza in your Zed? Would love to see someone's face when you rocked up in that with their spicy pepperoni!

Have to say I do seem to be having a run of bad luck with my car at the moment, it was only last month that someone rear ended me and I got my bumper resrayed (on their insurance thankfully). Starting to think that having a large sports car in a city with narrow streets and abysmal parking is not such a great idea after alll. Perhaps that's why I see so few of them!

As it says, housing for the right rear indicator after someone kindly shunted my car while it was parked.

Am I the only one who gets intensly annoyed with people posting questions in totally the wrong forum? It seems to be that the 'General' area has become a dumping ground for people who are too lazy to post in the relevant section. The most recent example would be this thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30691 WTF has this got to do with 350Zs? Sorry to pick on one person specifically as this is by no means the only example. I'm sure sooner or later one of the mods will move it but they shouldn't have to, it's just sheer laziness by the OP. This is such a great forum but it will only remain so if everyone makes an effort to keep it that way. Rant over. By the way I love the way you can now view unread posts including or excluding off topic, great work mods!

Ahh, but the point you missing is when Mr X trades in his 370Z in a couple of years time to buy his Lambo he will recoup much of that £15k. Yes, I realise that newer cars depreciate £ for £ more than older cars but its not just £15k down the drain that cannot be recouped. So if it boils down to losing an extra £3-£4k in real terms but you get to spank around in a 370Z for a couple of years it suddenly becomes a much tougher decision, for me anyway. Your deluded if you think a 370z will only lose £4k in that time frame. There are already cars out there for £26k. In three years time the 370z will be in the £15k car bracket and that 'extra' £15k has disappeared Ummm, I never said the 370Z will only lost £3-4k in 2 years, I said it will lose an extra £3-4k more than a 350Z would lose over the same time period. To my Economist brain that is essentially the opportunity cost of trading up to a 370Z.

What HP does your M3 put out? 370z is known to run very very rich and adding a few breathing bolt ons (intake and exhuast) has seen an increase of 20+HP in the States, putting it near 350HP As for 350z vs 370z, I'll let you know around March time hopefully Yep beavis is right, 343bhp. When BMW brought out the new M3 they jumped straight up from 343 to 400+, an increase of nearly 60 bhp is going to be very noticeable and makes it very attractive to E46 owners etc. I just feel that going from 313 to 329 to not exactly gonna have hordes of 350z owners dying to get into one. I appreciate its a more modern car and things like the rev matching gubbins and it being lighter and smaller will probably make more of an effect on performance but as they say, BHP sells cars......i think that the 370 is probably more attractive to non 350z owners as I can't get my head round why anyone would pay £15-£20k plus their zed for a 370z??? For once I agree with Sarnie There is no way in hell the 370 is worth a PX on the 350 plus £15Kish, If I were buying new then it would be the 370 but no for an upgrade, the only vaible 'upgrade' in my eyes s the GTR. R To be fair for many 350Z owners you're looking at a jump from 276bhp to 329bhp which would be very noticeable. Having only bought my 350 in April I'm well happy with it still and don't have the available funds to upgrade. But if money was no object would I have a 370Z? Hell yeah!

Interesting one this. I could have stretched my finances and bought a 350 several years before I eventually did. But I said no, made myself save up so I could buy with cash and then bought. I would worry for anyone (young or old) who is taking on a large loan to buy*, plus saddling themselves with £2k+ for insurance. You're exposing yourself to a lot of risk, if you lost your job and were unemployed for a few weeks you would be sh@gged. I work in finance though, where the advice would always be never buy on credit and have at least 3 months salary set aside for emergencies before making big purchases. * Realise this is probably an inaccurate assumption about the OP but just trying to make a point.
