Mudman Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi all A few more bits done Covers by Aquagraphix, Surround from Ceejay, Mirrors from Rickon Not sure what to do with the engine cover - quite fancy some commissioned airbrush work Quote
KyleR Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 A member on here, Carrie, had her cover expertly airbrushed, it looked great, but the heat causes issues with it and the paint lifted away from the plastic Quote
Mudman Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 Certainly one question to ask. I will ask Mooedmark if that's a standard problem given the amount of custom painting he does Quote
14N Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I think your engine cover is screaming out for a red and white Japanese rising sun mate. Would tie in nicely with the Jap number plate you use Quote

Would tie in nicely with the Jap number plate you use Funny you say that - been looking at a guy near my parents and he has done a Rising Sun flag with sparkly/shimmer effect - might have to give him a call Quote
nissanjuke Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Mudman where did you get your orange tube for your air intake,I WOULD LIKE A BLUE ONE Quote
Mudman Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 It's red just not a good shot. It's a Samco air intake hose. Just google that and should see you right. They do a few colours Quote
Payco Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Where did you get your brake fluid and battery decals from ?. Looking very smart.. Quote
AliveBoy Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Where did you get your brake fluid and battery decals from ?. Looking very smart.. Isn't that just paint in the recess? Use a fine brush and it should look good, or masking tape and a scalpel. Quote
Mudman Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Where did you get your brake fluid and battery decals from ?. Looking very smart.. Sent the covers to Aquagraphix - They were dipped gloss black and the lettering painted in then the whole lot lacquered - they look a lot better in the flesh. Straw poll so far is do the same to the engine cover and keep it relativley toned down but uniform so given me a bit to think about Quote
14N Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Yeah, best to keep things toned down in the engine bay. You don't wanna go too loud or in yer face 1 Quote
SHEZZA Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I thought about buying Ceejay's cover surrounds for my bay , God damn they look good ! Quote
