I mean, I knocked back the Skype one today, but in all honesty if it was installed it really wouldn't bother me that much. I do.... because their testing policy is crap. I've had access to a couple of Windows 10 desktop and server VM's for a while. I much prefer the server over 2012 but reserve my professional judgement at this point as I've not used it in any real anger. I only patch if there is something wrong or on our fully tested patching cycle (and even that is only certain releases, mostly SPs only). Sure there has been instances where a Windows Update has caused problems with other 3rd party software (McAfee DLP for example) but thats down to McAfee, not Windows. Id imagine most "problems" are caused by other out-of-date systems/software/drivers rather than the Windows updates themselves. Most of our clients are currently migrating from WinXP to Win8.1 (skipping Win7) in order to qualify for the free Win10 upgrade later on.
