mattross1313 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 This was a good read, lovely car you have I had the same engine in my old MR2 turbo and it was still one of my favourite cars. With an EBC and some supporting mods these can see 300bhp. Also, so glad you changed the wheels, as that was my only negative for the first 5 pages of reading 1 Quote
coldel Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Yes an EBC is definitely on the cards, although given my lack of any practical skills would need someone to install and set it up which would add up to a fair bit of cash and I have already put four figures on the car this month The wheels, well, it was hard, the seller really liked them so had to bite my tongue when buying. But clearly when buying a 20 year old car the structure comes first along with the suspension and engine as what has to be right - the wheels I could live with for a while till the right ones came along! 1 Quote
Stutopia Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I must be the only one who quite liked the old rims , not to say the new ones arent nicer! Quote
coldel Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Old rims are now on a subaru forrester in Woking! Quote
GMballistic Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Seriously this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest Celicas I've seen Coldel. Kudos. 1 Quote
Rock_Steady Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) If you have trouble setting up your EBC coldel just let me know , i'm a geek for the damn things. (especially the greddy profec Spec 2, good quality, easy to work, I know it like the back of my hand) Edited November 23, 2015 by Rock_Steady Quote

coldel Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Decided to switch the LEDs again to ice blue, think I prefer that. Also, stickers/no stickers? 1 Quote
Ekona Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 No stickers for me. Think I prefer the red as well, seems to match the car more than the blue. Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Well thats a big thumbs up from Dan anyone else? 1 Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 I know mate just pulling your leg! The red was a better match, but was not that bright in all honesty, might have been some duff LEDs. Quote
Grundy Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Least you're not afraid to tell people they're Rota's unlike people who put Volks stickers on them Think it's a subtle addition to match the paint work Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 To be frank, I think 99% of people that see the car wouldnt know their Volks from their Rota's - anyway, been there and done it with Volks Quote
Payco Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 With stickers for me. Lights get my vote too. Have a good Christmas Col. 1 Quote
Hell presidente Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Is that the Spree LED kit your dials are fitted with? Quote
coldel Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 No, just bought some myself off ebay for £3..! Quote
GMballistic Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Like the blue dial LEDs. At least they're really visible and as for the stickers I can take them or leave them. If you like them then keep em' on. Quote
Rock_Steady Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 (edited) I like the LED blue. I also like the stickers on the wheels. They're there but not too "in yer face" EDIT: the wheels with those red nuts really set the four off Col, looking at yours makes me want to get another one. I have been thinking about it.... whether I should tell the wife or not. Maybe I should just buy one, not tell her and take consequences. Hmmmmm...... Quote
coldel Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 She will just look on in amazement at your purchase and thank you for going behind her back 1 Quote
Rock_Steady Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 No, she'd say "you're not spending money on that and if you do you have to sell the Nissan" I say Nissan because she just says "the loud grey one" 1 Quote
