LRF4N Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I don't have a huge knowledge of Jensen I think the most I have seen of them is on wheeler dealers lol but would like to see a modern day version http://www.worldcarfans.com/115022589460/jensen-announces-geneva-debut-for-limited-edition-gt Quote
BulletMagnet Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Well, Letty was driving an Interceptor in Fast & Furious 6... 1 Quote
Mudman Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Why does that make me think Mustang on initial look ? Quote
Ekona Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 BWAHAHAHAHA £350,000 HAHAHAHAHA Sorry, no. Quote
brillomaster Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 have you heard how much they might be charging for it? up to £350,000 according to autocar: http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/jensen-name-returns-new-gt-model good luck with that! Quote
steve916 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Wouldn't pay that sort of money for it, especially as you can't even see through the windscreen Quote
WhackyWill Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 The were up to recently making the original Interceptor in small quantities for America market at £150k not sure if it was Jensen themselves were making them or another Company under license. I had an Interceptor, one of the worse cars I ever had. Quote

ekallus Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 It seems to have the front from an Aston Martin DBS and the rear of a Mustang, with the price of both! Quote
WhackyWill Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 http://www.topgear.c...s/1243081889001 Thanks BM. Yep that's the one, unfortunately I had the 1974 version made in the West Midlands. Quote
choptop Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 If this car does come into production, I wish them all the best. So many British Sports Car Manufacturers have died an early death despite initial interest. 1 Quote
LRF4N Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 350k?? Another early death methinks. Even with a manual v8 Quote
grahamc Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) What happened to this one? http://www.worldcarfans.com/111092036751/2014-jensen-interceptor-announced Edited February 26, 2015 by grahamc Quote
Wendy Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I loved the Interceptor, brilliant engine/exhaust sounds from that car if I recall correctly. There used to be a Jensen garage in these parts years ago, so you would ish often see one on the roads. Was only talking about Jensens at the weekend when at the Race Retro Show in Kenilworth. Some brilliant Group B rally cars on show and having a blast !!! Quote
ilogikal1 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Just me who thinks they've only looked as far as the Eagle Speedster when researching their price point? It is? Oh, okay then. 1 Quote
ATTAK Z Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 f type tailights? Yea a bit shitey all round IMO Quote
JetSet Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Jensen never recovered from the disaster that was the Healey. Poor quality build, paper thin metal and legendary unreliability. Had to sell the last few hundred at a loss apparently. Pete Quote
zxrob Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Cliff Richard may have one up for sale soon Rob Quote
