Tricky-Ricky Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Great to hear its still flying, i thought last year was it, as they had run out of funding, will keep an ear out for it, i used to see them regularly when i was a nipper, as i lived at the bottom of Biggin Hill runway before it went civil. Took these pics last year as it flew over my house. 1 Quote
saihaynes Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 It was at this years fairford air tattoo also, amazing plane Quote
Watshot Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) It was at this years fairford air tattoo also, amazing plane Maybe you mean Farnborough. It most definitely wasn't at Fairford this year. Well publicised before the event that they couldn't get in, and something of an own goal for Fairford who are starting to miss some of the special highlights, especially now that the yanks don't bother. Even the new F-35 Lightning didn't show on the Saturday for it's slot. Edited August 2, 2014 by Watshot Quote

Even the new F-35 Lightning didn't show on the Saturday for it's slot. I think the F35 has been grounded due to a few niggles, that's the reason it wasn't at farnborough and was only a static display and not flying. Quote
ATTAK Z Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Vucan and both Lancasters (Vera and Thumper) will be at Waddington tomorrow FYI Quote

RDON Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I have been in contact with the Vulcan experience team for the same reason of sorting a forum event day but they are slow at responding back each time! Quote
ATTAK Z Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) I have been in contact with the Vulcan experience team for the same reason of sorting a forum event day but they are slow at responding back each time! We can just turn up outside the hanger or at Mount Pleasant or at Portland and watch from there ETA or at Walkers Nurseries Edited February 11, 2015 by ATTAK Z Quote
ATTAK Z Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Well with the glorious clear skies today, I decided to take a day off work and go to Scampton to watch the Red Arrows practising ... had a nice lunch at the Cross Keys in Stow Quote
Paddy78 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I've probably posted this about 10 times before, but I grew up between Waddington and Cranwell, so the Vulcan used to fly over all the time (Amongst other things). I would be massively up for a Vulcan related meet. Quote
