I'm sure you have all seen some snippets of this today.

I managed to get hold of the unedited version, watch and wonder.. :scare: :scare:

This is the Snake Pass, sure you will be familiar with it.

If your bored with the first bit go to 2:10sec.

Judging by the way he was walking, the guy messed his pants.........car driver probably did as well!

Bit better than body parts all over the road..!! :scare: :scare:

Don't think the gene pool would've missed him much.

Where is this. Reminds me of the Isle of Man (sorry If it is, it's been a while)

Everyone misjudges things but that was a really stupid move!

"Obviously your ambition outweighs your talent." - Casey Stoner to Valentino Rossi after the 'incident' in Jerez2011

There are now far too many Rossi wannabe's on the roads on a Sunday. Partly the reason I've stopped riding.

Correct. It's the infamous 'Cat and Fiddle' road, named after a pub at the highest point.

The scene of this video is 2-3 miles from me. Many a weekend i've driven over to buxton and seen some kind of Biker accident on there. They fitted average speed cameras along the length of the road a few years ago, and they genuinely do seem to have helped.

I'm not a rider so am not overly familiar with the handling traits of bikes and the physics involved, but did he not just have too quick an entry speed which caused him to understeer and drift across the lines? As opposed to a deliberate attempt to take the racing line.

Hands up, I didn't watch all the video so have no idea if he was doing that consistently or not.
