Harryjax Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Well the markings where on the road. I don't know why the highway agency would write go fast go faster bend in road go faster still. That dope belongs at the end of a rope! Quote

14N Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 "Obviously your ambition outweighs your talent." - Casey Stoner to Valentino Rossi after the 'incident' in Jerez2011 There are now far too many Rossi wannabe's on the roads on a Sunday. Partly the reason I've stopped riding. Quote

Sent from my One using Tapatalk No its here Cat and Fiddle road near Macclesfield. Correct. It's the infamous 'Cat and Fiddle' road, named after a pub at the highest point. The scene of this video is 2-3 miles from me. Many a weekend i've driven over to buxton and seen some kind of Biker accident on there. They fitted average speed cameras along the length of the road a few years ago, and they genuinely do seem to have helped. Quote
Jared350z Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Amazing what lengths GoPro will go to sell a bloody camera. 1 Quote
mattross1313 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Yep, stupid biker indeed, but incredibly lucky. Bit that got me the most was how smug he was on the BBC interview, all smiles whilst watching his video back! A proper Dbag!! Quote
Ekona Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I'm not a rider so am not overly familiar with the handling traits of bikes and the physics involved, but did he not just have too quick an entry speed which caused him to understeer and drift across the lines? As opposed to a deliberate attempt to take the racing line. Hands up, I didn't watch all the video so have no idea if he was doing that consistently or not. Quote
Flex Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Tbh I didnt see anything bad, just a mistake really, we all make mistakes when driving, you just pay for it 10 fold when on a bike. Quote
mouthwash Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The fact he got up and walked away from that is probably a testament to modern safety gear. I know he didn't hit the car but being thrown down a slope at that speed and not ending up half dead, I'm impressed. Quote
OV53 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Far too shallow on entry coupled with too quick an entry speed, lucky boy! Quote
