Ok, the films I can watch over and over again, in no particular order:- Platoon, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Star Wars (original trilogy only), Blade Runner, Das Boot, and Goodfellas. I will also watch most of Kevin Smith's stuff (Mall Rats, Clerks etc.), and enjoy some of the "homie" stuff - New Jack City, CB4, and Don't be a Menace....

I realise that a few of you have already said that Blade Runner was not a favourite, but, I think the cinematography (for the time) was just about beyond anything else that came out at that time. :)

Terminator 2, Godfather 2, Empire Strikes Back are all superior sequels. Please no one say Aliens.

The only better remakes I can think of are Heat, Desperado and The Magnificent Seven.

Aliens added a whole new parth for that was a haunted house in space so deserves credit .Blade 2 anyone for the smaller budgit film .

Remakes also worth a mention for me would be John Carpenters The Thing and Casino Royal.

Edit and The Fly remake is pretty cool.

I am not a film lover and hate going to the cinema but I have enjoyed these films over the years -

"Raging Bull"

"My Beautiful Launderette"

"Peter's Friends"

"Brokeback Mountain"

"Everything you ever wanted to know about sex ..."

"Starship Troopers" (wonderfully kitsch)

"District 9"

Not sure that any of those are really standard rom-coms and I hate to think what my choices reveal about me? I seem to like equally love stories and extreme violence for some reason :scare:

Are.you related.to.me ;) this is my all-time favourite comedy from start to finish and the wife a film that trully brings tears to the eyes. So many stand out moments apart from the puke inducing end fifteen minutes.the FFing speach at.the car hire and so much more.
