CrumbMC Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Saw this on the TV the other day. You never really see this sort of thing in car adverts but i think it's awesome, especially in HD. Don't know if i prefer this or the GT86 advert but here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0gvqLZIQss 5 Quote
Will370z Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 God that sounded good on my surround sound, might have to watch that again later Quote
philb1965 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Please be kind to me lottery gods, I need this in my life! Quote
CrumbMC Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 yeah i nearly blew my speakers. I think my neighbours will have enjoyed it too Quote
jjt Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Just like the one we saw by the Evo Triangle on Sunday Quote
jonny the mod Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I watched this today for the first time on British Eurosport, blew my mind.... anyway back to Eurosport !!! It was my day off and was looking forward to watching the full days coverage of the Giro, (tour of italy). Only to find out that the bunch of missrable sh*it* have cancelled the stage due to a few flakes of snow. Sack the lot of them.......... Quote
cs2000 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I saw that in the cinema. Look good on a 500 inch screen with the volume upto 11 ! Quote
Mikesding Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Saw this in the cinema too - my friend noticed how the Audi logo on the wheel ends up perfectly flat, wonder how many takes that took? Quote
HmmBen Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Great advert. I was really surprised that put something like that out. Will crank it up louder next time. Quote
KurtB Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Awesome. Much better than a woman falling over for the Q5S! (or SQ5 or whatever it's called) Think it's the first car advert I've ever seen that's vaguely aimed at people that are interested in cars. Quote
raduv66 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 If only I could afford one and it would be Z whats that , It is however a car that really does benefit from an aftermarket exhaust system as it is too bloody quiet for a sports car. Quote
CrumbMC Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 Awesome. Much better than a woman falling over for the Q5S! (or SQ5 or whatever it's called) Yeah. But, for me, that makes sense as i pretty much hate all audis exept the R8. The advert is the same 1 Quote
BulletMagnet Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I get to hear that live, albeit it just being the regular R8 V10, one of my friends owns one Quote
Bems Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Awesome. Much better than a woman falling over for the Q5S! (or SQ5 or whatever it's called) Yeah. But, for me, that makes sense as i pretty much hate all audis exept the R8. The advert is the same Even the UR Quattro or the RS2 or even RS4? That has to be one of the best car adverts ever, can't think of a better one at the moment! Quote
Scully Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Saw this in the cinema on Wednesday, it was epic! Had to tell my girlfriend to be quiet as she started talking half way through! No respect 2 Quote
CrumbMC Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 (edited) Even the UR Quattro or the RS2 or even RS4? They are possibly the best offerings that audi has (aside from the R8 obviously). Quattro is more of a game changer than something i would ever desire or want. Audi RS4 - no thanks. Maybe a B7, but even then the equivalent AMG or BMW seem much more exciting. Also It does'nt help that every audi i've ever driven has been a numb, boring, harsh, crashy, understeering heffalump. Not forgetting the people who know nothing about cars that think they are sporty. But please don't get me started. I really like the R8 and that's what the thread's about Edited May 28, 2013 by CrumbMC Quote
