rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Looks very tidy, would be tempted myself, first alfa i've lusted over in a long time Quote
TheMacDaddy Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 +1 It's very cool - lovely car - especially the amount of CF on it. It is only Elise sized though, so you'd have to give up the GT aspect of the Zed and travel light. Quote

TheMacDaddy Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Oh well in that case go the whole hog, get a Caterham Superlight R500 and scare the utter **** out of yourself! The concept version was in a matte red that looked pretty sweet, but I think I actually prefer it even more in the gloss. Quote
S1 HNK Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Looks stunning but £50k I think i'd be going for a Cayman. Sorry Alfa, you just know it wont be a great drive Quote
Ekona Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 £50K puts it firmly in halo car territory. Hopefully it'll drive as good as it looks, but that's no certainty. I wouldn't spend my money on one, not at that price. Quote
LRF4N Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 50k? Take it its not the alfa GT replacement then Is that it production ready? Agreed it looks nicer without the matte paint job Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 due to released this year for sale Quote

rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 I like!...but I wish it was a bit...longer? Less stubby lookin? god always got to find fault in something if its bonnet was longer it would be more like an s2000, then you'd grumble it doesn't look like a zed, nd of coure the zed is better Quote

smudgedon Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Doesn't look right to me, all out of proportion Used to love my Alfa 159 Ti 1 Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 proportions look fine to me, just look at the shot looking down on the roof. proportions look spot on. Quote
Shaun1982 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 The 159 looks awesome from the front. So mean looking. Looks like its begging to be dragging its arse on the floor though! That would be über cool Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Love that colour! Someone hand me a towel! She be sexy! Made in the maserati factory too! Quote
AMT Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) Doesn't look right to me, all out of proportion Used to love my Alfa 159 Ti BANG ON!... By far... as long as its got those alloys, the mirrors and the callipers is , in my opinion...the best looking saloon. Audi's can be nice, but this is in a different league. I challenge anyone to find a better looking one. (I'd even like it better than a Rapide...cos I know someone will say that lol). And no for Alfas new car its not the bonnet it just seems to be a bit 'sqaushed' looking, spread the curves a bit lower so it doesn't look kinda small and chubby. Its either ...the roofline needs to come down or they've got the top of the door itself level too high. Kinda the same problem a 911's have had...too much window at the side going on ..just lower the roof a bit. Plenty room to do it ive sat in a few lol Edited February 13, 2013 by AMT Quote

JetSet Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Looks very nice (until you make it look lopsided by adding a front number plate) Pete Quote
Humpy Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Looks great apart from the very front nose of it, something just doesnt look right to me. Quote

Why would you compare a saloon to that small 2 door alfa? But yes I could think of 10 but it would still be irrelevant? Quote
