lew Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Hi folks. My name is Lew, I live in Helensburgh, West Scotland. Im car-less at the moment as I sold my Skoda Fabis vRS 2 weeks ago, however I pick up a facelift 2006 black 350Z tomorrow. Been shopping for one for a while so hopefully I have chosen wisely. I've had a mixed history of cars in the last few years, ranging from an 86bhp rover 400 turbo diesiel, to a 425bhp Mk2 Focus RS, however, I have never owned a 2 seater, never owned a RWD car and never owned a Nissan, so I am really looking forward to the experience! Not the best pics as they are screen shots from my phone, but you get the idea (im sure you've all seen one before!) Get some better pics up when I collect it tomorrow. Quote

I know I should probably search for the anwser to this, but the first mod I want to do is a more vocal exhaust back-box to release a bit of sound. Im watching a Japspeed K1 exhaust (second hand) on ebay at the moment that finishes soon. Ive seen and heard a few vids on you tube of what they are like and im quite pleased with the sound. I was just wondering if they are rated as a decent exhaust and what the difference between the k1 and k2 versions are??? Quote

The Z is totally standard and has 71,000 miles, a little more than I wanted, but I didnt expect to get a facelift for my budget. 4 previous and full nissan service history, including the expensive 50-odd-thousand mile one. spursmaddave Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 71,000 and just 4 services.... It should have had 9k, 18k, 27k, 36k, 45k, 54k, 63k and is due it's 8th service very soon K1 & K2 are the bottom end of the scale quality wise and the sound especially the K1 is just loud not nice... Quote

Yeah, i meant 4 previous owners one of which was a nissan demo car. On the train now to lancashire to pick it up. Weather looks prettty bad here. I saw on the news the M6 was shut near were im picking it up from (preston). Hope i can get back ok! Quote
