bassett Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Hi All, Just signed up as i intend to buy a 350z in the coming months. Following on from selling one of my pride and joys to boost a deposit for a mortgage i now want to get out of the car i downsized to and into something sporty as my 8v golf gti is as sporty as a P&O ferry! I am located in south croydon so hoping to join you lot down at the grasshopper when there is another local meet. First key question is how do they cope with ramps as i have a ramp leading down to my garage probable similar to a car park ramp so will it rub or be ok? Adam Quote
JetSet Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Welcome . They handle steep ramps fairly well unless you have it lowered or a very low spoiler fitted. Mine's only bottomed out once and that was on an exceptionally steep drive that levelled out very sharply. Pete Quote
Dblock Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 As above if your not lowered they are actually pretty high. Quote
Keyser Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 as lomg as you don't get a lowered Zed you should be fine. Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Welcome to the forum. I was worried about speed humps in Town, but no problem so far. Quote
bassett Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Thanks for the warm welcome guys i really cant wait to get a Z and sounds like it will survive the trip down to my garage which is excellent news Quote
bronzee Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Welcome to the forum. They're not exactly high off the ground, nor particularly low, at just a smidgen over 10cms off the ground stock. As long as you're careful most driveway and speed bumps are doable. Quote
