I first drove one in Aug 2004 when I rented one in Germany (jpg below)- they didn't have them in the inventory for very long- and my first impressions were superb. Even to this day I think it was one of the best handling cars that i've ever driven on a certain mid German derestricted toll road (and that includes a 911 GT3- but maybe I'm not good enough to wring out all of the potential of that car) It made such an impression that I've finally got round to buying my own. Plan is to do several track days next year- car is completely standard at the moment and I'd like to give it a few track runs before I look at changing things. I love the engine growl and I'm proud to ignore any badge snobbery (as my other option was one of Stuttgart's finest and I chose the Z as the better value) I'm looking forward to the spring already.
