New adjustable car ramps

Just got a set of adjustable car ramps which are really heavy duty. Can highly reccomend these to anybody. Built to last and raise the car up almost double the height of normal ramps. Height can be held at any point throughout the range.

Here is one at full height...

It is 42 cms at full height...

And about 18 cms fully lowered

These are adjusted up by a 22mm socket on a ratchet or attached to an extension bar onto a power drill for a speedier ascent/descent

They are still a bit high to drive straight onto, but a piece of wood is enough to get on without scraping the bottom.

I only got a set of 2..... Don't think I would need to get all four off at that height. Just use the jacks at the other end if I ever need all four off.

These take upto 2 tonne....

They advertise on ebay and have a best offer..... I got them for £ 280 delivered... They have a reserve at £250 .

The auctions have been going for anything between £230 and £270 with £30 for delivery added on.

You can buy them outright for £329 delivered from their ate as well.

These are pretty damn heavy and will last a long time...

Anyone else looking at those and thinking, "Sod working under there in case they fail!"? Or just me?

They do look a wonderful piece of kit, I just don't trust stuff like that.

I think I'd probably stick a load of timber underneath to be sure

I may be being really thick here (i often am) but several people have mentioned a set if 4.....

how would you get all 4 wheels anto 4 ramps at the same time?

And I'm with Ekona, jack up and axle stands.

Please rethink that question before anyone answers it

have all the ramps facing the same way then drive up them?? 2 in front of front wheels 2 in front of rear?? would be bot dodgy as ramps could move

Brilliant, why didn't I think of that.

Jeez I can be dim at times, still be worried about chocking and having all 4 off the ground and changing the height would be pretty dangerous I would think?!

You ain't being thick. There is no way you would fit/slide one of them under a zed sill. A 4x4 maybe.

Like all things that are used to jack up a vehicle at a single point, a back up is recommended. The metal framework is far more substantial than normal ramps and the only way I can see of a collapse ( other than the snapping of the frame itself ) is if the threaded Rod either snaps or all the threads strip thus allowing the movement to slide back....

I have made a rod to chock up the slide rail which is easy to drop in and remove as a back up, as well as the axle stands if needed

They are quite expensive for only to be used a couple of times, but I have 3 cars to look after so they will get used and last a good length of time.

I would love to see someone try and drive onto 4 of these at the same time, in fact I think you could get £250 from the tv for that video...
