Zedrush Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 cut grill out get some blue samco hoses on that badboy Quote
Ekona Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Always through a grill. Doing it the other way is like running down the street with your willy hanging out: It may look impressive at first, but sooner or later something is going to come along and whack it so hard that it's going to do some serious damage. BladesGrant Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 What about change your front bumper to one that shows it off. If not show it!! Quote

That said I'd probably have it on show if it was mine as it does look awesome Quote
Chris`I Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I would do it through some mesh or something so its quite visible but has a bit of protection Quote
ZMANALEX Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I would do it through some mesh or something so its quite visible but has a bit of protection +1 Exactly my sentiments indeed. Requires to be open so that it works but also requires protection. Quote
sunset350z Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 As mentioned a Zunsport mesh grille may rock your boat and will give it max protection Quote

clarkie34 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 As has been said show behind some mesh, but please no chavvy writing across it. Quote
yokomo Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 another vote for ditch the silly grills and get some mesh , dont want to be picking leaves etc out of it all the time . Quote

givememorepower Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I agree, other than the fact that driving without the grill looks plain silly, it looks like some gypo has stolen it and you're driving bareback. Also how long before something bounces up and causes some damage? Quote
Steady Zeddy Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 The Intercooler on my Vortech SC Zed is hidden behind a meshed Nismo V2 and tbh is almost impossible to see unless you really look - hence I am changing to an Amuse front bumper and will just put mesh in the sides and leave the front open. Whether you use mesh or not will largely depend upon the design of your front bumper - as previously mentioned the ideal would be not too in your face - just enough to make out the intercooler. Quote
martinopy Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I would keep it behind the standard grill. IMO mesh and having it exposed looks chav, really don't think either suit the z. Quote

Andy Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Check this stuff out, looks very smart and professional (read that as non chavy) and it very strong so won't flex if hit by a stone or something. Is what I am fitting to my Z. Pretty much the same price as the crap stuff that is floating about as well. http://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/ ... -c483.html Quote
