After a few years searching for the right one for me ive finally found it :).

Needs a bit of work as it has been sat a few years.

The car came with a few goodies like

gauges , controllers and after market stuff inside.

Ohlins coilovers worth more then what i paid for the car.

Hks pipes, massive bean tin exhaust, racing clutch.

There is only 30k on the clock and apparently was owned by an old lady in japan who used to drift.

Thanks for looking :).

Resist the temptation to up the power, keep with the twin set up, an Apexi ecu and decent map, out of all the Rx7's i owned, that was by far the best set up and the one i miss the most.

Thanks guys, its still running standard turbos and not sure what ecu yet the guy i brought it from did say it was running over standard power but how much i dont know ,

Just put a new fuel pump on it as that was seized and might drop it at a rotary specialist soon so i can have it checked over properly.

We got no power to the fuel pump either so got alot of fun times ahead trying to get this sorted.

These things fly even with circa 350hp.

Great sounding cars too. Nice buy.

I still haven't recovered from what they did to the one on wheeler dealers.

Run a new supply buddy, its pretty easy and safer as the original looms are now old and tired and have been known not to be able supply a constant voltage, thus resulting in running lean.

Ecu is in the passenger left footwell behind the plastic kick panel, very easy to access to see what you have.

I am not sure if Ross at Dragon Performance is still operating, i know he moved onto gtr's, but if he is still in business and will take a look, he really knows his stuff, or a little further is Tim at Rx Motors, again very very good, if a little odd, think the professor out of Back to the Future :)

Thanks jetpilot for the info ,ive just uploaded a pic of the ecu is that any good or still recomend an apexi down the line ?

Did a bit of work on it today fixed a few things like the passenger door , both windows, passenger headlight motor, fitted a couple of little covers that go over the seat belt bolts and took the neons out the boot.

Still needs a clean but that will be last after we've got it started .

Hope i can get it ready for for the drive to japfest lol!

Thanks for the kind words guys i must admit i think im in love with this car :)

Ignore the half finished driveway i was too excited to pick the car up haha

So its a std ecu thats been flashed mapped by Knightsports, it is a good outfit but wont be tunable over here, so yes would still get an Apexi, fully mappable and very well known and cheap too and often come up 2nd hand.

Get yourself over the mazdarotaryclub forum, personally i wouldnt bother with fduk forum.

Thanks zeezeebaba.

Took the plugs out today i must have flooded the engine when i last tried to start it up cos they were pretty wet , so today ive deflooded the engine and fixed a couple of brackets on the headlight cover as it was only held on by one screw.

Cant wait to get this started and drive it.

So after a new fuel pump and some expensive sparkplugs this thing fired into life after 8 years off the road, to say im happy is an understatement.

Now its started ive booked it in to rx motors tuesday for compression test and a check over.

Heres the vid of it popping and banging.
