ConnorW06 Posted December 24, 2016 Author Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) Ok I give in and will ask the dumb question...... what is the ARC mod? You can get the ARC license added to your car that is running a Uprev tune. Meaning you can add extra features like Launch Control, Rolling Anti-lag, Flat foot shifting and Burn out mod. Usually you would need a line lock to lock the front wheels while spinning the rears, the 'burnout mod' allows you to spin the rear wheels and lock the front wheels by holding the brake pedal down, without any need to add any hardware, it's all done through the ARC software. Jetpilot Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 I like the idea of flat foot shifting, particularly on a track car the rest seems a bit gimmicky for me Quote
Mark@Abbey m/s Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 The burn out mode is needed to allow you to hold the car on the brakes while giving the car throttle. Normally with a 350Z as soon as you touch the brake pedal it shuts the throttle down. ARC add on license allows you to remove this so allowing born outs to be carried out. Quote

So does it actually lock the front brakes or just disable the throttle cutout mark? Also are the options available on the DE as the video I seen for the anti lag etc said it was just for the HR? StevoD Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 (edited) How much to get this added on!!! I need this Although as above good for de? Also does it lock front brakes or would it allow for left foot braking/ rolling burnout Edited December 25, 2016 by StevoD Quote
djtimo Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Just pull your brake fuse and you can do this lol Quote
StevoD Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Just pull your brake fuse and you can do this lol I still need brake lights to work Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 My abs block is unplugged anyway so it might work with mine? Not sure, I've never really been into burnouts tbh but the launch control and anti lag etc sound really cool Quote
StevoD Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 (edited) I just wanna be able to left foot brake and accelerated for sprinting Edited December 25, 2016 by StevoD Quote
Stutopia Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 If touching the brake shuts down the throttle, how am I heel and toeing, on the brakes on downshifts into bends? Quote
Strudul Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 If touching the brake shuts down the throttle, how am I heel and toeing, on the brakes on downshifts into bends? Might not apply when the clutch is disengaged? Quote
chips Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 ahahaha awesome! Coincidentally I saw the 370z love/hate thread and it got me thinking I would like the line lock feature so had just made the enquiry into options around getting this one for a 370z with an Ecutek! Quote

Kieran O'Quick Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 If touching the brake shuts down the throttle, how am I heel and toeing, on the brakes on downshifts into bends? Yeah, exactly. I brake in gear against the throttle and drive a few hundred yards to warm things up before sprints. Throttle doesn't die. Is there a rev point where it stops? Quote
davey_83 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Park up in neutral, hold the brake and rev the engine to find out. Quote
Mark@Abbey m/s Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 To confirm what the added BURN OUT mod upgrade with ARC License. How to activate: Burnout Mod Turning this feature ON results in the brake-throttle safety limiter being ignored. This will allow the throttle to open fully while pressing the brake pedal at the same time so that you can begin doing a burnout. Seems the stock car enables a throttle opening limit when the brake pedal is pressed together with the throttle pedal , stock car will still enable you to toe and heel. 1 Quote
Strudul Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Can this be put on a de then? Is this available for de? Ecu you on a pre 06 isn't big enough for the extra software But on the 06/07 Rev Up DE it would work then? Yeah I believe so as there is more storage on the ecu Quote
