horus1970 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 i need a new exhaust for the zed, which would you choose between scorpion cat back, cobra catback, or buddy club? i want a resonated version but my main concerns are with ease of fitment, i.e lining up correctly and such, have £750 spare and have weeded it down to the 3 listed above, also my car is a jdm 35th anniversary model are they all the same exhaust fitments for uk and jdm,? any help would be appreciated, cheers, Quote
chirag1988 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Cobra resonated FTW - had this fitted for more than a year now. Had it fitted by Mitz @ Cougar Store with no issues in fitting whatsoever. Sounds awesome man - love it! 2 Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Are you sure you don't want to go a step higher an get an awesome Invidia Gemini at £899 delivered in 5-7 days? Edited September 4, 2015 by octet@TORQEN Quote
tommoger Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 +1 to the Invidia. Sounds fantastic, looks great Quote
Humpy Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Out of those I would say Cobra or Scorpion. Scorpion looks slightly more aesthetically pleasing Quote
Bodyboarder81 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 ..... Stop being tight and get the invidia I've had the scorpion and the fitment was pretty poor ( although you can get it to sit right ) Quote
Jp606 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Save a bit more and get the Invidia, really good quality exhaust. Quote

HiddenWomble Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I've been told the extra cost of the invidia goes towards a higher quality grade of stainless steel, and that's not just on the pipes but all the fittings too. Sounds good to me so I'm busy saving up for my own set as I'm sick of exhausts rusting away on me! Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 We have a good selection here http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=dd1edc90-f600-4205-8db1-1dede1281030 Plus lots of exhaust packages in our section, let me know if I can help Quote

Nick350z Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I've had my Cobra non-resonated for 2 years now - very happy with it and it still makes me smile - it sounds awesome! 1 Quote
GriffGTV Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) from youtube experience only, the Invidia does sound good and not wishing to divert cash away from potential sales....have you googled 'muffler delete' - simply removing rear oversilenced box and re connecting tailpipes or custom tips to main resonator gives a close approximation to the best 'systems' with possibly more crackle and pop - you also save a fair bit of weight hanging out there at the rear - particularly good for roadsters - I suspect, splitting original 'muffler' and stripping out baffles may also have good results Edited September 5, 2015 by GriffGTV Quote
