    New wheels :)

The specific width you can run depends upon what offset the wheels are to begin with. You may notice you get some strange traction control issues running a square set up because the ECM expects to see the rear wheels rotating slower than the fronts because they are normally larger. On a square set up they'll all be at same speed so may cause a problem. Just have to see. Good luck!

    New wheels :)

Love the style mate but as Stew says something doesn't look quite right on the rear one could be the picture of course. Profile looks a little odd. Most people go 275 or 285/35/19 at the back.
  3. Looks like its gonna be carbon wrap... Bought some Hexis vinyl yesterday. I feel a carbon addiction coming on...
  4. I'd love to see it too I had an ST185 before the 350z. Loved the old GT4, loads of mechanical grip was an awesome machine!
  5. Totally agree mate civilians tooling up with guns would make it a whole lot worse. Criminals would just do the same and the uk becomes little America where nowhere is 'safe'. I think gun laws should be tightened further but as you say criminals leave their rights at the door when the break in.
  6. It should be like it is in the US regarding intruders. Pretty much if someone is in your home without permission do what you want. The victim should be the one who gets the sympathy, the protagonist should get nothing!
  7. I'm either going to vinyl wrap or carbon skin mine I just can't decide which is the best of the two methods .....
  8. Does anyone know the part number for the front bumper grommets: Need some new ones because i've rounded mine due to being a bit ham fisted so the bumper screws will no longer tighten up whoops . . .. Thanks Folks
  9. OMG!! That's shocking! Poor fella!
  10. I have the same problem at bonus time mate. Can't do anything it just goes. Look on the bright side it's a grand less you'll owe! I think I still owe about 10-12k after paying best part of 170 a month for last 5 years. Can't wait till its paid off!
  11. Thanks RT, they look pretty good. I'll give one of them a go. Thanks again.
  12. One word for that fella ****er!!!! He should be banned from professional football for life. Terrible role model and how clubs can justify buying him is a disgrace!

  14. Morning all. I've got some shine FRP side skirts and when baked the air trapped between the glass fibre and gel coat burst through the surface. I know this is normal for FRP. So will be gouging out the defects and filling before priming and painting. Just looking what would be best to fill these defects with I found this gel coat filler: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0017YA ... etail?pd=1 Will this be ok? Thanks Steve
  15. Struth!!! That is bad luck mate!!! Hope everything turns out for the best!
  16. My 2004 ran 268 base when run at RS tuning this was with a few mods and was running crazy lean. After the RS UpRev I got 280. Mods for both runs were pop charger, Japspeed K1 with bungs in (this is how it's always driven I think these impeded the max Power) and plenum spacer.
  17. Also as said the vast majority of people to prefer to buy a stock car. I know when I buy cars I always go for stock ones. I don't know why but when cars are modified it instantly makes everyday joe think the car has been hammered and is a pile of rubbish. You buy an R34 for the fact it is a GT-R, looks amazing and performs amazing. It's all about the branding etc. why should a 25 year old Ferrari be worth £100k+? It's all in the brand and desirability. In my opinion an R34 GT-R is much more desirable than a zed, I'd love one but can't afford it. However I also love the zed and couldn't bring myself to get rid. Puts a massive smile on my face everyday-looks amazing, drives amazing and is fun. Vulture mode, if you do break I may well be interested in all the kit for the SC and fuel system, sorry it had to come out!
  18. A sad day mate, love your motor. Hope all goes well with the strip.
  19. Further information of how loud the K1 is: Bunged on my car it hits 93Db at 3/4 rpm static test. Bungs removed it hits 103Db at 3/4 rpm static test.
  20. Expect to get rinsed on fitment cost for the bumper mate! I was quoted just over a grand for my shine front end fitting and spraying. I decided I'm fitting the bumper myself then will get it painted. I'm just glad shine stuff is flexible as solid fibreglass would be a nightmare! Good luck fella.
  21. Ha ha, I've just opened a share dealing accountthrough natwest so I'll be all ears for tips! If I have any i'll update this space!

    GT5 Zed

Ha ha my GT5 zed has the same rims in the same colour. Awesome!
  23. To be fair I'd recommend getting the aerosync urethane N1 front bumper. Far far easier to fit and modify than fibreglass/FRP. Additionally urethane will be much harder wearing. I wish I'd gone for urethane now! FRP even Shine FRP is a pain in the ass!!
