Allcar tyres and exhausts in hudds have a Hawkeye laser system. I've used them a few times and both times once geo was corrected car drove WAY better and can't fault the service. Was about £70. Search for my old posts there will be a couple about it
You can ask them to put it back to stock settings or add some -ve camber for a slightly more aggressive setup.
Probably best to do some geo setup research first to match your driving style.
Option 3 for me mate.
I'd go black upper half of car and green lower half of car. Then some black anthracite wheels would finish it off nicely.
Really looks good what you've done so far!
I run a fair bit of extra -ve camber so didn't want the back end becoming too lively I figured I'd rather have a car that understeers a little than tries to kill you every time you nail it in the dry.
I am planning on trying the full stiff setting soon though.
Ha ha you ain't the only one! Can't imagine the wheel bearings are going to be enjoying the 60mm spacers either.
The loads are gonna be massive compared to design loads.
Never been a fan of the veilside, looking forward to getting my 'kit' sorted.
I used a hair dryer and petrol.
Hair dryer to soften everything so could pull the plate off then petrol to clean up the bumper of adhesive marks .....
Probably not great for the paint but the but my bumper is getting replaced soon
That's the plan once this tenancy agreement is over.
Hoping to buy somewhere with enough space to build a massive garage! I want at least a double with space for a work area.
Thank you for the input guys really appreciate it.
Decided the bummer gets the garage as we think it's probably more of a target due to the value. Even though the zed is a much better looking car lol.
To be honest I was learning towards the Beemer.
In terms of the cheaper quotes for the car being on the drive I think mine also came up cheaper last year when I looked.
Will have to check insurance prices. Just seems to me someone would be more likely to want to steal a 21k car than a 7k car.
Thoughts and opinions please folks.
I recently moved in with the Girlfriend and when we were looking for a place I said I wanted a garage for the car. So we got a place with a single garage. At the time our lass drove a 106 independence so no need for that to be garaged.
However the 106 has now gone to the scrapyard in the sky and she has just bought a brand new 1 Series BMW.
We now can't decide who should get the garage.
Reasons the zed should get it:
Being a performance car it is likely to appeal to be stolen by joy riders.
Also being a performance car it is likely to attract random vandalism.
Reasons the BMW should get it:
The car is worth a lot more than the zed.
BMW and Audi seem to appeal to professional thieves for export from what I've read. Therefore being hidden is a benefit.
Just wondered what others thoughts are?
Cheers
