  1. The only other way I can think to do it is fab up some brackets and bolt them to the crash bar, maybe this is the best option.
  2. Cheers Alex, will request this from the body shop when the car goes in. They are currently prepping and expecting a call sometime soon for me to drop the car off. Hope they'll be able to sort it!
  3. That's a good point mate had totally forgot about that. There are no mounts on the Shine front bumper to fit the headlight washers so really not sure how to do it....
  4. Did you manage to keep your headlight washer jets? If you did how did you do it? Or did you just remove them and block the pipes? Cheers Steve
  5. Yes I agree it will be over 100 Db loaded. I forgot to include those numbers are from static 75% RPm tests at trackdays.
  6. The K1 sounds amazing with the bungs in but I agree it is headache inducing with the bungs removed. 93Db Vs104Db - static test at 3/4 Rpm I'm planning to remove the bullet silencer in the mid pipe and fit a Jetex 16" x 8" x 6" silencer to see if that means I can remove the bungs!!!
  7. I'm on tapatalk right now it's mint
  8. that's awesome! I had been running mine with fittings at the top and removing it to do oil changes, was a right pain in the arse! Think I'll be flipping mine over now, it's currently off the car because I never got round to putting it back on at last oil change.
  9. Sorry if this is a dumbass question but is it okay to mount an oil cooler upside down? I always thought you were supposed to have the inlets and outlets at the top? If not you have saved me buying extra braided hose!!!
  10. I usually drive at 69 and get 33mpg ish like people say the slower you go the better economy becomes until engine is laboured. Aerodynamic drag is a square function relative to speed so at 20 if drag were 1000N at 40 it would be 4000N at 60 it would be 9000N assuming all other fluid properties remained constant.
  11. Another instance of internet shopping killing off the high street. But to be fair if they were anywhere near on price they might stand a chance still sad news for all those affected!
  12. Ha ha, whoops! I never even realised lol
  13. Well eventually the Amuse kit has been dropped off at the body shop for prepping. Next week the car goes in for the kit to be sprayed and fitted, hoping all goes well and I get good results...And my wallet isn't raped too much! Will post up pics once it's all done....
  14. That's ridiculous!!! Only one solution!!!! Vigilante justice!
  15. Id personally do the latter mate and get proper offsets to keep the kingpin axis in the same place at the wheel centre. When I put spacers on mine I thought it handled like a pig! It started to tramline, didn't feel as hooked up etc. This is why mine didn't stay. Plus they ain't cheap.
  16. Nice work! It's easier and quicker taking the bumper off than the way I did it.....such a nightmare trying to leave the bumper on!
  17. Comparing them against my teins mate which have been on about 18 months I think they'll drop a touch more at the back end, front looks about same as mine. Sticking spacers in will make it look massively different. I'm going for new rims.....eventually lol
  18. Don't forget to mark the wipers current spline position so you can put them back in the same place. They are a nightmare to get off!
  19. No worries mate, hope you get it sorted. Mine was doing my head in never knowing how much juice was left. It's worked perfectly ever since.
  20. I've always run 5W-40 fully synth
