  1. I think I'm just going to get one from nissan now. Don't think the early gearbox needs to come off as its bolted on the outside. (mine's an 03) Anyway, I'll post a guide when I do it just in case anyone else needs to change theirs
  2. Speaking to nurrish yesterday he said he also wanted the old ERS front bumper as part of the deal!! YOU wouldn't do anything with it
  3. +1 He did my sig the same day. 4 months explains it all Liam I'd happily do you one but you didn't make the West Mids meet so... Only joking, I've got to go in to work tomorrow and I need something to do (other than the work). Whats your team called? I've got a good idea already If your out and about with wheels tomorrow pick up your dads spring compressor The missus is dropping me to work but I'll have the focus back on Monday so I'll grab it then

  5. Nothing wrong with Rotas at all. In fact I quite like 'em. Nobody here has had any problems (I dont think) and to be honest I bet the finish on a set of Rotas would probably last better than my Volk GTS' did at triple the price. Simple: If you dont like them, dont buy them but I think its a bit harsh bashing Rotas when you know fully well that you will be offending plent of people on here that do have them.
  6. I was just about to post here saying its definitely the clutch slave cylinder Now that I know what it is my350z comes up with quite a bit more content and it seems like a common fault. The guys in the USA can get a nismo CSC for about $30 from mynismo.com so I'm going to look into that unless someone on here has a spare? Anyone know if the slave cylinder is the same on UK & US cars? Cant see the gearbox being the wrong way round too, that just wouldnt be cost effective
  7. Just found this http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gsedan/ ... ervice.htm video. It pretty helpful. Nurrish is on his way round to give me a hand changing the fluid so fingers crossed.
  8. Just tried it a minute ago, still just a sprung pressureless pedal I'll try and bleed it properly tomorrow as at the minute the fluid looks like gravy so I think it probably is contaminated. I'm helping nurrish change his suspension tomorrow so I'll get him to help me Thanks for the advice anyway, I just hope it is something I can DIY as £££ is a bit stretched at the min
  9. Was driving back from Halfrauds after buying some engine oil and brake fluid and went to go from 4th gear to 5th (or 6th- cant remember) and pushed the clutch pedal in and it got stuck. managed to drive it home by pulling it back up with my foot but now even fully disengaged I cant get it in/out of of gear. I've done a few searches on here and my350z but they all mentioned the clutch burning but mine isn't like that - it revs fine in neutral and I can crunch it into gear and it holds fine so its more like the clutch just wont disengage. I noticed a bit of a noise today driving to work but thought it was my air filter (metallic sound) as its got a lot louder since the nismo ECU. I tried to find a guide on changing the clutch fluid (via search and trawling) to no avail, can anybody point me in the right direction? B*stard thing... im just about to go on 2 holidays as well!!! Any help would be appreciated!
  10. It looks like they have done a really good job but to me it looks a bit dull. Could you not put some clear wrap or wax it? The wing mirrors look much better than the stick on covers though
  11. Nah, the only thing I really like about it are the roadster mesh seats. Not really similar to the FNF car as it has no turbo.
  12. Well done mate Look forward to seeing it!
  13. I prefer the term 'dorris' Wonder why there aren't many female owners on here?! about 50% of the Zeds I see in Birmingham are driven by Sprinkles
  14. Nice one mate! Now transplant the Zeds engine into it and youve got a monster

    CANBUS

Actually I'm pretty sure you can get the ECU to forget the previous car by using a NATS code. Nissan can reprogram the ECU by using a code on the ignition barrel. (second hand info BTW) PM ZMANALEX, he knows EVERYTHING!!
  16. That was a bit flirtatious You got your ecu the same way
  17. One of the welds may have broken. Use the search, this has happened a few times before
  18. It hasn't settled down at all, your hearing is just going so doesn't sound as loud!!! I think after your exhaust broke the Dyno, they rigged you up to a richter scale. Your 303 was actually the worlds worst earthquake caused by you!!! No, trust me it was horrific! It gave me a headache in Wales. Drove past Maccaman who was directing the convoy and actually hurt his ears (sorry mate)
