When mine was wrapped a few years back I spoke to the dvla and they told me I didn't 'have' to tell them by law. I did however for the very reason you stated above.
I think it's sensible to buy are you saying its now a legal requirement as there is quite a difference.
A lot of work gone in.
Which trader exactly are you calling a wan*er
Wouldn't have gone with the Nismo wheel centres as they aren't Nismo wheels. Exhaust sounds
Out of your suggestions i'd probably go for a 5 door Mk5 gti. A 3 door car will just be irritating for moving stuff about.
Fast, fun, reliable and still retaining a bit of the petrolhead in you
I'm not sure what planet your on. How does this (which is the text from your initial advert) make it clear that it's not a genuine NISMO item??:
As for it not being fake??? It has 'NISMO' etched into it. If Nismo didn't make it; IT'S A FAKE!!!!
Totally agree. You have to realise not everyone has the knowledge of some people on here so I for one thought it was a genuine Nismo item hence I considered paying that price for it. I would have been very disappointed to realise it wasn't
Wow that is weird
I often try amending my online quote to see how much different mods affect the premium. Just hope I don't get a letter asking for me to insure my new supercharger
Talk about over reacting!
You didn't hurt anybody, you were insured. Yes you should have reported it but its only a bloody lamppost so i'm guessing a hefty fine and points.
Just make those gold badges don't make another appearance
On the nismos I'd stick with all black as the diamond cut lips don't last well at all.
As for powder costing I've heard a few horror stories that do the rounds but it's common practise for wheel refurbers and my nismos were done so I really wouldn't worry at all.
