what a strange question 3rd gear is my usual for fast overtaking but it totally depends on what speed i'm doing, what road i'm on, weather conditions, how quickly i want to get past someone etc etc

My bmw 120d was fantastic for economy, 48-50 real world mpg all year round and remapped to 210+bhp. Even if I drove it like an idiot it would still do 42mpg. However, sounded awful, 1st gear was pointless and when I felt like a spirited drive although the torque was bloody impressive it was no fun. Petrol all the way for me now purely for the fun factor

not true, you have to have insurance even if its just left in your garage. I wanted to leave my s2000 over the winter and not have it insured but everyone i spoke to said it was illegal unless it was sorned.

To be brutally honest I wouldn't sell your RX8 for a 350z for better economy. It will be better than the mazda but realistically 16mpg vs 20mpg wont work out as much money, especially when you factor in deprecation. Those RX8s have plummeted which is a shame as the R3 looks fantastic in my opinion and running costs aside are a great car. You will love the 350z, I use mine everyday and have a fairly relaxed 11 mile commute, however I drive I average 26mpg which isn't bad but thats with no city driving. What age Zed are you looking at?

You might get £200 for it, they are never worth anything near what you hope. Tried to sell plenty in the past and you sometimes get a few bites on ebay.
